Making ale

The quest Making Alexander Slippery with the Elder Ring can be completed in two ways: by helping him get out of a hole and assisting him to a location. Both can be completed in Liurnia of the Lakes, located south of the Carian Study Hall. You must help Alexander to get out of the hole by making him slippery with oil. To make Alexander slippery with oil, you can use a pot of oil, which you can obtain from the Nomadic Merchant located west of Worshippers’ Woods Site of Grace.

To make Alexander slippery with oil, you must first find an Oil Pot. This can be obtained from a merchant in the Siofra River. Then, use a heavy weapon on Alexander to make him slippery with oil. After you have coated him in oil, he will appear out of the hole. Afterwards, he will tell you the story of the fiery mountain. This will make Alexander more slippery and easier to climb.

Talking to an NPC

You can use a simple technique to make Alexander slippery. First, go to the northern part of Limgrave, north of Saintsbridge, to find Alexander The Warrior Jar. Once you have found him, whack him with charged heavy attacks and he’ll pop out of the ground. Once you’ve done that, talk to Alexander to continue the quest. He’ll reward you with Exalted Flesh.

You can also talk to Iron Fist Alexander in Liurnia of the Lakes. The iron fist Alexander is stuck in the ground and needs help to climb up. To make him slippery, you can use the Oil Pot. This will give you a boost, and he will let you get up with his help. Once you get to him, he’ll give you a bonus Exalted Flesh and congratulate you for your great effort.

After completing these steps, talk to Alexander again. Once he’s slippery, he will offer to fight you if you have enough health. If you can get him to leave his site clear, he’ll offer to help you defeat the Fire Giant. Then, talk to him again and try to get a reward. This time, he’s not stuck in lava. Once you’ve found him, summon him to help you with the Fire Giant boss fight.

Getting to Liurnia of the Lakes

Getting to Liurnia of The Lakes is easy if you have a car. The best way to get there is from the eastern shore of the lake, or from the northern shore, where you’ll find a different Grand Lift. If you’re planning on farming runes, a unique area called Frenzied Flame Village is an excellent place to go. The area is located in Northeastern Liurnia.

East Liurnia is located in the southern part of the region. This area contains lakefront and swamp areas. The Bellum Highway connects these areas. Once you’ve completed the quest, you can head northwards to access the Grand Lift of Dectus and Altus Plateau. You can also get to Liurnia’s southern area via the Altus Plateau, where you’ll find the Sacred Tear.

Talking to Alexander

First met in Stormhill near the Mad Pumpkin Head and the enemy encampment, Alexander is a companion to be reckoned with. You can find him near a site of grace and ask to help him charge an attack against the enemy. After he asks for your help, he will rest at the site of grace. If you are a new player, make sure to speak to him first. Talking to him will make him slippery and he will mention that you might be able to break free with the Oil Pot.

Once you’ve spoken to him a few times and found out his secret, you can talk to him. He is usually near a jutting rock in the lava. Eventually, you’ll find him at the top of the rock, near the fire giant’s camp. If you’ve found him, you can use him to fight the Fire Giant boss. You can also summon him for assistance in the final battle with the Fire Giant.
