Defeating Rennala unlocks the ability to re-spec your Elden Ring build
Defeating the Queen of the Full Moon is the first step in unlocking the ability to re-spec your Elven Ring build. Once you have defeated her, you will be able to use the “Rebirth” dialogue, which will re-spec your character and reset your attributes. Unlike other RPGs, you cannot re-spec your character before defeating Rennala.
In order to unlock the respeculation option, players must defeat Rennala and obtain the Larval Tear. This item is limited, and you must obtain it before tackling the Queen. After you obtain this item, your character’s attributes will reset to the original state. You can then re-spec your Elden Ring build as desired.
The first phase of the fight is fairly easy. Rennala begins the fight in a golden orb. Her followers mill about below her while singing a song of protection. You can use spirit summons to help you fight Rennala, but remember to protect your friends and allies! And don’t forget to use all of the abilities that your new re-spec will grant you!
Avoiding her energy beam
In Elder Ring, avoiding Rennala’s energy beam can be tricky. You must be able to locate the three orbs in the area. When you break one, Rennala will fall to the ground, and the other two will levitate to create a new barrier. The key to avoiding this attack is to stay as far away from Rennala as possible.
To avoid the energy beam, move to the side, dodge roll, or move away from the area where the Comet Azur is aimed. It’s safer and saves stamina. For melee builds, move closer to Rennala, while ranged players can use this time to counterattack. Buffing oneself is also helpful, as incantations and Magic Fortification can both be beneficial during the duration of Rennala’s energy beam.
If you can, avoid Rennala’s energy beam. She uses it rarely, but she will send out a golden energy beam at some point in the game. This energy beam is difficult to dodge and deals massive damage. Because of its massive blast radius, you can’t afford to miss it completely. It is important to master the timing of the beam’s movements to avoid it.
Dealing with her scholarly minions
The first time you face Rennala in the Elder Ring, you will want to kill as many of her scholarly minions as possible. Her minions will be flying books, purple books, and other objects. The good news is that you can kill these minions once, which breaks Rennala’s aura, so you can deal with them all at once! The only downside to dealing with the minions is that they will be spawned in different locations, so you’ll need to be careful.
While Rennala isn’t immune to standard attacks, it can be easily defeated by melee and warrior classes. Be sure to avoid melee fighters and warriors when fighting her. You must also be aware of her students as they crawl toward you in the arena. While dealing with these minions, remember that the Queen of the Full Moon will descend from above and will illuminate the arena.
Defeating Rennala’s spirit summon
This guide will cover the basics of defending yourself against Rennala’s spirit summon. Rennala is the Queen of the Full Moon, and she is at full strength. She also has many magical attacks, but she also has a low poise and can be easily interrupted. Defeating her is not difficult, but there are some tips to help you out.
Defeat Rennala by first taking down her shield. It will break after three students attack her. You do not have to kill any of them, just get rid of her shield before she can use her powerful AOE blast. When her shield is down, back up and wait until her hands glow yellow. Continue this process until she loses all of her health. This process will take about five to ten seconds.
During the first phase, a powerful energy orb will explode in front of Rennala. To avoid being hit by this attack, you should aim for the side of the arena. Once the dragon is down, Rennala will turn into an NPC at the Raya Lucaria Academy. You can talk to her to respec your character. If you haven’t yet, you can also use the Larval Tear to change your character’s stats and equip powerful weapons.
