Weeping Peninsula
The Weeping Peninsula is a location in the Elder Ring that you can explore once you’ve completed Stormveil Castle. It’s the southernmost landmass on the map and can be accessed by a bridge in Limgrave. This location is a good place to level up your characters and earn experience toward the Stormveil Castle. The area is filled with dungeons and other upgrades.
The Weeping Peninsula contains one Evergaol, the Ancient Hero of Zamor. This foe uses a blade enchanted with cold energy to deal heavy damage. You can also come face to face with Leonine Misbegotten, the boss of Castle Morne. She uses repeated combo attacks that wear down players. To avoid being overwhelmed, bring something with you to disrupt her rhythm.
Rampart Tower
The Rampart Tower is a powerful structure that is incredibly important to find the Site of Grace. It is located in the second tier of the Elden Ring, after you defeat the Banished Knight. There are several enemies in the tower, but you can avoid their attacks by carefully approaching them. You will find several enemies in the tower, including a Commoner who will lunge at you. After he flies away, you should go up the staircase, but do not climb to the top. The Site of Grace is on the second level, so you should check for it.
Once you have defeated Margit, you can continue to progress and find the Ulcerated Tree Spirit. You can also find the Tree Spirit in the underground crypt, which can be reached by climbing the ledge above the doorway and jumping through the window. You can also find the Ulcerated Tree Spirit in the main courtyard, where you must defeat the mini-boss version of him. Once you’ve defeated him, you’ll find a special talisman in the area.
Church of Ellah
One of the key NPCs to locate in Elden Ring is Renna. She gives you a Spirit Calling Bell which lets you summon spirits from ashen remains. Despite being a key NPC, you’ll have to backtrack and find the Church of Ellah at night. If you haven’t already found her, you can still pick her up by talking to Melina.
Another NPC you’ll need to pay attention to in Elden Ring is Merchant Kale. He’s located at the Limgrave location of the Church of Ellah. You can trade him various items for Runes. This is one of the first NPCs you’ll encounter, and he’s important because of his connection to Tarnished. Nabil Elouahabi, known for his role in Valorant, voices Merchant Kale.
If you’re on the Eastern Tableland, you can also use the Portal of Grace in the Academy of Raya Lucaria to gain access to the Church of Ellah. You can then proceed through a cemetery to reach the church. Another way to reach this landmark is to cross a giant chain bridge that surrounds the Academy of Raya Lucaria. From there, you can access the Church of Ellah through the courtyard behind the Academy.
Leonine Misbegotten
In the Elden Ring, the boss Leonine Misbegotten is a fairly easy encounter, but it’s worth knowing that the fight is not going to be particularly easy. She can be found at Castle Morne, Weeping Peninsula, and the Rampart Gaol Site of Grace. Spirit Jellyfish Ashes are great summons against this boss, as they poison and stagger Leonine. These critters can be tanky enough to survive multiple attacks.
The second place to find Leonine Misbegotten is Castle Morne, located deep south of Limgrave. This location is an important part of Irina’s quest line. You’ll be given a letter to deliver to her father. Once you’ve delivered the letter, Edgar will explain to you how to proceed. Once you’ve completed all of your missions in Castle Morne, you’ll be able to kill the boss and return to Irina.
