The Walking Mausoleum is a type of mausoleum in Elder Scrolls Online. It resembles a stone turtle that moves on its giant stone legs. Many have bells attached. In order to stop the mausoleum from moving further, players have to hit skull-like deposits on the building’s legs and base. To enter, players have to jump on the building’s base to attack these deposits. Walking Mausoleums can also be entered by spectral knights.

Walking Mausoleums
A Walking Mausoleum is a big creature in the Elder Ring. To defeat it, players must ride up and approach it. Once you get close, you’ll see a white rock on its feet. Swing your weapon at the rock, and it will stop moving. Once you’ve removed all of them, the Walking Mausoleum will stop moving and you can enter it. However, this method requires a great deal of time, so it’s best to plan ahead and learn the tricks of the trade before heading into the game.
The Walking Mausoleums in the Elder Ring can be dangerous, but they’re also very rewarding. They’re like colossal rock turtles with a tower on top. They’re easily recognizable by their four enormous rock legs, and they’re easy to navigate. The bells attached to their legs are great for hearing them from a long distance. You can attack their legs to get inside, or attack the gray matter around their base to destroy it.
Remembrance Duplication
You can duplicate Remembrance in the Elder Ring by visiting the Wandering Mausoleum, a circular building on four legs with glowing white barnacles that is the first step to duplicating the item. However, you should note that this quest is not available in every Mausoleum, so you must first find a Mausoleum with a bell before you can attempt to duplicate the item.
The Lands Between is the easiest place to duplicate Remembrance in the Elder Ring. You will need to spend a few minutes on this quest before you can use the duplication system. The first boss to drop a Remembrance is Godrick. Then, you will have to climb up to the colossi, which are equipped with bells. The Walking Mausoleum is home to a shrine and altar for Remembrance duplication.
Locations of Walking Mausoleums
There are eight locations in Elder Ring for the Wandering Mausoleums, all of which require the player to stop them. These mausoleums will attempt to stomp you if you do not remove the White Skulls on its feet and from its base. Fortunately, removing enough of them will stop it from moving. Players must use the Remembrance to do so, and once they do, they must place it at the altar to make it appear. However, each Walking Mausoleum can only have one Remembrance, so make sure to use it wisely.
The Lands Between is a region of The Elder Ring that is home to seven Walking Mausoleums. These can be found near the Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel Site of Grace, the Mausoleum Compound Site of Grace, the Church of Vows, the Mountaintop of the Giants, and Castle Sol. However, if you want to be a part of all seven, you need to be a high level player to get a Walk-in Mausoleum.
Locations of Walking Mausoleums in Liurnia of the Lakes
In Liurnia of the Lakes, there are three Walking Mausoleums. The first is located near the Crystal Tunnel and the Raya Lucaria Academy. Upon entering, you can subdue the Walking Mausoleum with skull piles. You can also enter the Mausoleum Compound to find two more bellless mausoleums.
To reach the second level, the player must move to the southwest and jump over the skulls. After jumping over them, a short staircase will lead them to the upper level. When they reach the top level, they must use their roots to climb the mausoleum before it settles. Afterwards, they must continue to climb the mausoleum’s skirt, avoiding the skulls as they fall.
How to enter a Walking Mausoleum
In the Elder Ring, there are eight different types of Walking Mausoleums. They’re located around the feet of certain buildings and can only be entered with non-demigod Remembrances. However, entering one of these mausoleums requires breaking the skull buildup around your legs, which can be a bit painful. If you’re looking for an easy way to enter a Walking Mausoleum, there are a few tips you can follow.
The first method is to ride a Torrent. Once you’ve reached the elevated area, use a nearby environment to jump onto the Mausoleum. Once inside, smash the white mire to reveal the interior chamber. Then, you’re ready to enter a Walking Mausoleum. This method is available for PC and PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox One.
