If you haven’t yet ventured into the mausoleums of the Elder Scrolls V, you’re about to learn how. With the proper tools, you can successfully access these monuments. If you’ve been wondering how to enter the Mausoleum of the Consecreated Snowfield, you’ve come to the right place. Here are some tips to help you get in the mausoleum of Liurnia of the Lakes.

Mohgwyn Dynasty Mausoleum

You must know how to get into Mohgwyn Dynastry Mausoleum in Elden Ring to complete the quest. This is one of the most difficult places in the game. The entrance is located on the eastern side of the Mohgwyn Palace. You can access it via a portal or two sites of grace. Depending on your character level, you can also use this place as a checkpoint. Defeating Mohg is one of the biggest challenges in the game, but the rewards will be worthwhile.

Once you’ve reached the mound, follow the pathway that leads to the Dynasty Mausoleum. On the way, you’ll see a red sign indicating that you’ve invaded Varre’s world. Follow this path, and make sure to jump over the narrow cliff edge to find the Golden Rune. Then, head south and interact with the portal to gain access to the boss room.

Once inside, you’ll find a lake of blood, which is the area where you need to gather Haligtree Medallion halves. This is the easiest way to challenge Mohg, Lord of Blood, and get the Great Rune, but it requires a high level and time to complete. If you’re unable to find Varre, you can still access the palace through the Yelough Anix Site of Grace, which has a blood-covered teleportal.

Consecreated Snowfield Mausoleum

The Consecreated Snowfield Mausoleum is a large crypt in the north-west of the Consecrated Snowfield. Inside, you can find a frost breathing statue and an Imp Head. You will also find a corpse holding a Rejuvenating Bolus. The tomb has locked doors leading to the Consecrated Snowfield Catacombs. A trap is located in the room next to it, which shoots icy breath.

The Consecrated Snowfield has many sub-locations and dungeons. The Yelough Anix Tunnel is a dungeon/mine, and its boss is a variant of Astel. You can also find a map fragment by finding a stel near a pack of wolves and an invisible Teardrop Scarab. These dungeons are very difficult to access without a torch.

Getting to the Consecrated Snowfield is one of the most difficult parts of the game. It’s the last region of the Elder Ring, but you can’t go there until you’ve collected both parts of the Haligtree Secret Medallion. After collecting the Haligtree Medallion, head to the Mountaintops of the Giants and climb to the Consecrated Snowfield. Once there, make sure to choose the option “Hoist Secret Medallion” when entering the area.

Liurnia of the Lakes Mausoleum

Getting into Liurnia of the Lake’s Mausoleum is relatively easy, thanks to its Walking Mausoleums. However, this one is slightly different because it doesn’t have any skulls on its feet. There are a number of enemies and NPCs here that drop crafting materials. You’ll find weapons, armor, and other items.

To access the Walking Mausoleum, you must first reach the top of the cliffs near the East Raya Lucaria Gate Site of Grace. Alternatively, you can use the gravestones on the cliffs above the cliff to get to the top. It’s possible to do a double jump if you’re unsure of the distance, but this method isn’t recommended.

Once you’ve reached the top of the cliffs, head to the north and look for the Spirit Spring. This will allow you to climb up the cliffs. To get into Liurnia of the Lakes Mausoleum, use the Spirit Spring and follow it to a spot with the surrounding cliffs. Afterwards, you’ll need to break the skull buildup on the cliffs to enter the inner chamber.

Liurnia of the Lakes is the next major region after Limgrave, making it the largest overall region of the game. It features an extensive academy of Raya Lucaria in the center and many other landmarks scattered across the area. Throughout the region, you’ll need to collect a number of items and loot to get to the top. It’s also worth taking the time to explore every point of interest.
