Discarded Palace Key
To find the Discarded Palace Key, you have to complete Ranni’s questline in Nokstella, Eternal City. This quest will give you a Miniature Ranni doll, which you can find inside a coffin nearby. You can also find it in the Ainsel River, at the Main Site of Grace. Once you have it, head to the Grand Library and use it to unlock the chest inside.
The Discarded Palace Key will open the Chest of the Darkmoon Ring, which is necessary for completing the questline. You will also receive a Darkmoon Ring in the chest, which you will need to serve Ranni and continue the questline. You will find great incentives for serving Ranni by earning the Discarded Palace Key. But where can you find this key?
Dark Moon Ring
The first time you play Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, you’ve likely wondered how to unlock the chest in the Grand Library. Fortunately, that’s a relatively easy task! To start out, you need to defeat Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon, in a battle. Once you’ve gotten this far, you’ll be able to open the Grand Library’s chest with your Discarded Palace Key. Inside that chest, you’ll find the Dark Moon Ring.
The Dark Moon Greatsword is another quest item you’ll have to complete in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. To get this quest item, you’ll need to find a chest near the Grand Library Site of Grace in Raya Lucaria. This chest is locked and will require a Discarded Palace Key to open it. You can use this key to open the chest, then put the ring on Ranni’s finger to obtain the Dark Moon Greatsword.
Death Cursemark
The Death Cursemark is a legendary item which will allow you to use it to battle Fia, a boss found in the Deeproot Depths. The Cursemark of Death can also be used to unlock a second ending in the Elden Ring questline. It can be found in the Grand Library in Rennala’s old arena.
To unlock this questline, you will need to complete the Ranni the Witch questline in the game. First, you must go to the Church of Elleh to meet Renna, who is the boss of the Elden Ring. Afterward, you must travel to the Moonlight Plateau and look for spectral forms of Ranni. You’ll also need the Death Cursemark to unlock the chest in the grand library.
Ranni’s Rise quest
To begin the quest, visit the Grand Library in the Three Sisters region. In this area, you will meet with Blaidd, who will tell you that you have a letter from the Sorceress Sellen. This letter will give you more information on the quest. At the same location, you will also find Iji, who can help you out with the quest. Once you complete this quest, you can talk to Sellen.
The Ranni’s Rise quest can be completed in three different ways. The first step is to talk to Ranni the Witch. You can use this quest to unlock Fia’s Questline and the second ending of the game. The second step involves visiting Blaidd’s House, which is located near the Rot Lake. Once you have spoken with him, you will see that he has a Miniature Ranni doll.
Activating the elevator
The Grand Library is a place that can be explored in the first two weeks of the game. However, you have to activate the elevator to enter the second half. To activate it, you need to face the doors to the right. When you do, you will be greeted by two summon signs. The golden one will help you kill Jerren and the red one will help you defeat Sellen.
The first of these requires you to defeat the story boss Rennala, who can be found at the Raya Lucaria Academy in Liurnia of the Lakes. After defeating him, you can take a different route to reach the next level of the game. However, it is important to note that there are several paths to take after defeating Rennala, and these paths will depend on your exploration.
Defeating the Baleful Shadow
Defeating the Baleful Shadow is the first step in the quest line. The Baleful Shadow is a mini-boss that takes the form of Blaidd the Half-Wolf. To defeat him, you need the Discarded Palace Key. It will also use Crimson Flasks, so make sure to watch out for these.
The Baleful Shadow can be found in Lake of Rot Shoreside Site of Grace and the shoreside area of the Lake of Rot. You need to defeat this monster in order to obtain the Dark Moon Ring. After you have obtained it, you will need to defeat him again in Lake of Rot to receive a reward. You can also use it to unlock the Dark Moon Greatsword, which is a version of the Moonlight Greatsword in Soulsborne games.
