Liu Lang’s journey to explore beyond Pandaria
If you are a player of the game World of Warcraft, you are probably familiar with the area known as Turtle Beach. Located on the south coast of Pandaria, it offers some of the best views in the game. It is accessed from the Krasarang Wilds, where you can travel east on a famous shore. This location is where the first Pandarian explorer Liu Lang set out to explore the world beyond Pandaria. You can find historical points of interest around Pandaria, but the statue of Liu Lang can be found at Turtle Beach.
After a five-year absence, Liu Lang set out on a voyage to explore beyond Pandaria. He was initially injured in his head, but was able to return to the island five years later. Over the years, he returned to his new home, gathering more explorers and wanderers with him. Eventually, he died at the age of 122, but his sea turtle, Shen-zin Su, did not return.
