Five Star Wars Characters Who Served the Galactic Empire

Princess Leia

The film takes its cues from classical mythology and story structure to present a compelling heroine and female lead. Princess Leia doesn’t play the damsel in distress role straight. She is imprisoned and has little means of retaliation, but that doesn’t mean she should cower and hope the hero will rescue her. She rises up against the Empire and fights for her country.

Young adult fiction focuses on Princess Leia and her relationship with Han Solo. This novel takes place between The Empire Strikes Back and The Return of the Jedi, and is set six years before The Force Awakens. It also includes the novel Leia: Princess of Aldera, which takes place six years before the events of The Force Awakens. It is written by Claudia Gray, who has penned Star Wars: Bloodline and Leia: Princess of Aldera.

Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin

The fictional Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin is a character from the Star Wars franchise. He appeared in the 1977 film Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope as one of the two main antagonists of the movie. He is the commander of the Death Star, a doomsday weapon the Empire uses to wipe out the Rebellion. During the film, Tarkin ordered the destruction of the planet Alderaan with the Death Star’s superlaser. However, he was ultimately killed when Luke Skywalker blew up the Death Star, causing an enormous explosion.

A ruthless military leader, Tarkin began his career as a moff and was promoted to grand moff to foil the Rebellion. He served the Galactic Empire in several roles, including as a Republic captain during the Clone Wars. He later was captured by the Confederacy of Independent Systems, but was able to escape and eventually rise to the rank of Admiral. Tarkin also served as a prosecutor in the trial of Ahsoka Tano.

Arihnda Pryce

A mining executive in the Galactic Empire, Arihnda Pryce was the heir to her family’s mining business. She deceived her way up the ladder, and became involved in the political elite of Coruscant. She was later dismissed after being caught up in a plot. She then joined the Higher Skies Advocacy Group and allied herself with Governor Wilhuff Tarkin and rising Navy officer Thrawn, and planned her ascent to power.

Governor Pyrce has a complicated history. Her father was a powerful Imperial general, and the Empire needed to replace him to maintain control of the galaxy. While she is a great general, she is also a terrible woman. She was the reason why her sister was killed in the prequels. However, the Star Wars Rebels movie is much better. In addition to being one of the best movies of the franchise, Governor Pryce is a complex character, with a lot of conflicting motivations.

Gungan Jar Jar Binks

The clumsy and helpful Gungan Jarjar Binks has long been a source of speculation. Some people speculate that he was killed by Anakin Skywalker, while others believe he was simply taken into a death camp. Whatever the truth is, Jarjar is one of the most interesting characters from the Star Wars universe. But the true facts are far less enlightening.

In the Star Wars films, Jarjar Binks serves as the Gungan Representative on a Naboo delegation, and later becomes a full-fledged Senator. He first served as the Junior Representative under Senator Padme Amidala, and then became a Senator after her death. In Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Jarjar Binks is remembered for proposing emergency powers to Emperor Palpatine. After this, Darth Sidious becomes the chancellor.

Prince Xizor

The Falleen prince, Xizor, served the Galactic Empire during the Clone Wars. He was the leader of Falleen, the planet where Darth Vader had a secret biological weapons laboratory. Vader destroyed the planet in 7 B.B.Y. in order to prevent an outbreak. Xizor was devastated by the destruction, but resolved to exact revenge on Vader.

The Dark Lord of the Sith and the Galactic Empire, Xizor had an interest in establishing a supply of freelance bounty hunters for the Galactic Empire. His goal was to recruit bounty hunters who would serve as agents for the Empire, so he placed a bounty on the rogue Stormtrooper Trhin Voss’on’t. The two warring factions soon broke apart and the Dark Prince’s agents were sent in to hunt down the rogue Stormtrooper.
