The new update contains several new quests and characters, and includes the Dragonspine area. In addition, this area contains the infamous Scarlet Quartz, which gives players the power to break ice. You need to break it within a certain amount of time to collect the Scarlet Quartz.

The key to dispelling the Dragonspine curse is to find and break ice crystals, which are guarded by ruins, puzzles, and a time trial challenge. While destroying the first crystal is mandatory, a player can also reap rewards by breaking more crystals. For instance, by breaking a second ice crystal, players can get a coveted Scarlet Quartz.

Unbreakable ice crystals

The 1.2 patch of Genshin Impact brings a brand-new icy zone, new enemies, and materials. It also includes a new event, allowing you to break through ice crystals that cover quest items. While the event isn’t available until you’ve completed the game, players can still find a way to get the unbreakable ice crystal buff by using Scarlet Quartz.

In this quest, you must first collect the Scarlet Quartz, which can be found nearby the Dragonspine Statue of the Seven. When you are facing the Statue, head back to the circular chasm across the path to the red crystal. Attack this crystal until it breaks, releasing the Scarlet Quartz. Once you’ve done this, you can head back to the statue and interact with the Statue of the Seven.

The second part of this quest is a difficult area, called the Dragonspine. There is a large area filled with ice and snow. Fire cannot break ice, so you’ll need to find a source of heat. However, most ice isn’t melted by fire. You’ll have to use a weapon attack to break through it. This way, you’ll have a better chance of finding the treasures you’re looking for.

Unbreakable ice boulders

The first quest in the new update, Unbreakable Ice, requires you to find the red rock called Scarlet Quartz. This rock gives you a buff that allows you to break ice. However, this buff is temporary and disappears when you die. You can’t use it to break ice while dying. To avoid this problem, you should find the red rock early. Afterwards, use the blunt side of the knife to cut the ice.

The weather conditions in Dragonspine are extremely extreme, making it important to find a source of heat. Luckily, this is not difficult to do, but you should be careful about the ice around your character, since it’s fireproof! You should also be aware of strange patterns on the ice, which are fireproof and hide amazing Genshin Impact treasures. You’ll need to break through these ice patches to get to the statues.

Unbreakable scarlet quartz

In order to use Unbreakable Scarlet Quartz to break ice in the Dragonspine region, you need to collect the red precious stone. This is easy to find, as the material is easy to acquire in general. The scarlet quartz buff is temporary, and only lasts for a short amount of time. You can only use it once per game session. The buff only appears in your inventory if you collect enough of the red stone.

The new update for Genshin Impact includes a brand new icy region, as well as new enemies and materials. The game is currently available on PC, PS4 and Switch, with a porting process planned for the Switch. Unbreakable Scarlet Quartz is an item that will grant you a short-lived ice-breaking buff that can be used against all enemies. If you have it, you can use it in battles against Ice Patterns, and it is not worth the time it takes to collect it.
