Earning Windtrace Coins in random match-made games
Genshin Impact’s new event, Windtrace, is now available. It is a limited-time event that will run from May 14 until May 24. This event is a type of hide-and-seek game in which players are randomly assigned one of two roles: the Hunter or the Rebel. The Hunter is tasked with finding the Rebels while the latter tries to hide from the Hunter. Players who complete this event will earn Windtrace Coins which are exchanged for rewards in the game.
To participate in the event, players must have Adventure Rank 20 or higher. They can only participate in Windtrace if they’re in areas with Statues of the Seven. The event icon is a black cat face with a white mask around the eyes, located at Gygax. During the event, players can earn Windtrace Coins by killing as many Rebels as possible. To gain more primogems, players can also choose their favorite characters. However, Windtrace does not allow players to use Mona’s Alternate Sprints or Kamisato Ayaka’s Shield of Courage.
Redeeming Windtrace Coins for primogems
Taking part in the Windtrace event is a fun way to earn 420 free Primogems. The event is a part of the new Genshin Impact update, and the first time it goes live tomorrow is an exciting time to jump into the game! To participate in the event, players need to have at least Adventure Rank 20 and will have the option of winning EXP, Mora, or Primogems by completing the quests.
Redeeming Windtrace Coins for Primogems is easy to do. All you need to do is activate the quest marker and speak to Gygax in Mondstadt city. Once you have finished talking to him, jump into the matchmaking zone with three other players. Your performance will earn you Windtrace Coins, which can then be redeemed for Primogems, Mora, and Hero’s Wit Talent Level-Up Materials.
Obtaining Mora
Obtaining Mora with Windtrace Coins is relatively easy. To obtain them, simply complete the challenge missions in the game. There are five challenges in Windtrace that will award you up to 250,000 Mora each. To earn Windtrace Coins, you must complete the challenge objectives, including detecting a large number of rebels using sensor aura, winning a game as a rebel, using props to hide, and catching all the Rebels.
The first one is to complete Windtrace Challenges. These can be completed by traveling to Gygax’s, earning Windtrace Coins in the process. These Windtrace Coins are then exchanged for Primogems, Weapon Enhancement Materials, and Mora. In our tests, we earned 420 Primogems using Windtrace Coins, and this amount is likely to remain the same for upcoming reruns.
Unlocking Statues of the Seven
In order to unlock Statues of the Seven, you must first gather enough Windtrace coins to complete the Ritou Escape Plan, which is located in the Mondstadt City. Once you have completed the Ritou Escape Plan, you will be able to begin playing the Windtrace event. This event will allow you to enter the Statues of the Seven, which are scattered throughout Teyvat. To unlock them, players must complete the Ritou Escape Plan subquest of Act 1 Archon Quest. Players must collect Windtrace coins to unlock this event, and they will have two weeks to complete it before the deadline.
The maximum Windtrace Coins you can collect in Day 1 is 1,200, and you can increase that limit by 600 per day, up to a maximum of 4800. Besides, the Statues of the Seven can only be unlocked with Windtrace Coins, which you earn by completing the Ritou Escape Plan Archon Quest. The rewards for unlocking the Statues of the Seven are based on how many Windtrace Coins you have gathered, and the maximum amount of Windtrace Coins you can collect on Day 6 is 6,000.
