The Warcraft movie is set in a Tolkien-esque fantasy universe, and tells the story of both the human and orc races in the world of Azeroth. The human characters are trying to save their homeworld of Draenor, which has been devastated by fel magic. The orcs, on the other hand, are trying to take over the land for themselves. In order to accomplish this, Gul’dan (Daniel Wu) opens a portal to the land of Azeroth.

Glenn Close
Glenn Close is set to make a short cameo in the upcoming “Warcraft” movie. She has previously been seen in various TV spots for the game and was asked to join the cast by director Duncan Jones. This is a role that she was elated to accept. The character of Alodi is a half-elf male guardian who lives in the World of Warcraft universe.
Michael Adamthwaite
Michael David Adamthwaite is a Canadian actor. He is well known for providing voiceovers for anime characters such as Jaffa Herak. In the Stargate SG-1 series, he played the role of Jaffa Herak. He has also lent his voice to the movie “Warcraft.”
Glenn Close as Alodi
In “Warcraft,” Glenn Close plays a part that went uncredited in the movie. Her character is called Alodi, a half-elfen male guardian, and the character was originally a male, but in the movie, Close plays a female version. The film also features similar events to the game’s expansion, Legion. But the movie does feature Close as Alodi, and the film is not a complete re-telling of the games’ story.
Glenn Close as Garona Halforcen
In the movie, Garona kills Llane, but under different circumstances than the game’s lore. She does so as a Mercy Kill so that Blackhand cannot defile his corpse. However, it is still a bit different than the game’s lore, where she stabs Llane in the neck and cuts out his heart. In the game’s universe, she does the exact opposite.
Daniel Wu as Gul’dan
The latest “Warcraft” movie is about a warlock who leads the Horde from the human realm of Draenor to the evil orc kingdom of Azeroth. This villain uses dark magic and corrupting tactics to prepare his soldiers for battle. Daniel Wu, a Hong Kong-born actor, plays the role of Gul’dan for the first time. This is Wu’s first time using motion-capture technology and had to start his own training school to get the job done properly.
Fel magic
The Warcraft universe is filled with the grotesque, yet beautiful, mutative powers of fel magic. The color green indicates that the orcs’ bodies are green in color, a subtly devious reference to the game’s tusks. Some orcs have pulsing green mutations, such as Gul’dan, who sprouts spikes from his back. In the video game, fel magic is used to make Gul’dan a twisted and terrifying presence in the world.
Burning Legion
The Burning Legion is the third installment in the world of Warcraft. Set in a Tolkien-esque universe, the movie follows the story of the war between orcs and humans. The conflict arose when the orc leader Gul’dan (Daniel Wu) opened a portal to Azeroth, where the human world is a part of. The orcs, on the other hand, want to conquer the land.
