High Elves are now a thing in World of Warcraft. The High elves are light specked and have been around for about half the game. This is great news for High elf players, who can now be found on both factions and both sides of the battlegrounds. This new race will bring a whole new set of challenges to the game, including their unique nature. Let’s take a look at some of these challenges, as well as what makes High Elves so special.

High elf addiction
It’s not hard to see how a blood elf might develop an addiction to arcane magic, but it’s something that you should never do. While some blood elves have become addicted to arcane magic, others are addicted to a particular substance that is made of blood. Depending on the substance, it can take as little as a single drop of blood to cause a withdrawal symptom, or it can be as severe as turning Wretched.
In World of Warcraft, all High Elves have a small proficiency with magic, including enchantment. Even blood elves can develop an addiction to magic, although it’s not as widespread as in other fantasy games. The high elves are aware of their addiction and actively fight it. For instance, they must meditate every day for an hour to satiate their magic-addiction. However, these magical objects are rare, and night elves try to keep them from using them.
High elf worshipers of the Holy Light
The Church of the Holy Light is a religion in World of Warcraft that focuses on worshiping the Light of the World. The Church is the most common religion in Alliance regions and is based out of Stormwind. Archbishop Benedictus is the head of this church and his teachings revolve around the Three Virtues. However, there are differences between the Church of the Holy Light and other religious groups.
The High Elves are blue-eyed and pale in color. The first High Elves appeared in Warcraft 2, but were destroyed by Arthas in the Warcraft 3 expansion. The High Elves who survived ended up joining the Horde instead of the Alliance. Their new identity was not only a reaction to being wiped out, but also to their bitterness towards the Alliance. They were cool with their new Horde neighbors, but they were also kind of evil.
High elf priests
In World of Warcraft, the High elf priest class is a unique class within the MMO. This class was previously called the Elven Mage-Priest, and first appears outside of Stratholme to help Arthas purge the area. As part of this purging campaign, they help kill the Risen Zombies and protect the citizens and residents of Stratholme. They can be a good choice if you are interested in playing a Priest class.
The High elves of Azeroth were originally a member of the Alliance, and were only later splintered off to form their own faction. Initially, these elves were members of the Alliance, but were wiped out during the Third War. After this incident, the survivors formed the Blood Elves, a faction of their own. During this conflict, the remaining Alliance faction became xenophobic, blaming the elves for the death of his father.
Their relationship with the Forsaken
The High Elves and the Forsaken are polar opposites in World of Warcraft. High Elves view themselves as the inheritors of the world, and Dark Elves consider themselves to be the descendants of the Old Ones. These factions are less tolerant of other races, and they are more willing to work with the powers of Chaos and unpleasant factions and entities.
In the past, the Forsaken were Humans and Elves, and their relationship with the Forsaken was complicated by the fact that many of the Forsaken had human names. However, that changed after the Scourge destroyed the Sunwell, the source of magic for the High Elves. Regardless, the relationship between the two races has evolved over time. High Elves have a long history of alliances and feuds with each other, and in the game, the Forsaken are no exception.
The relationship between High Elves and the Forsaken has been complicated since the game began. Earlier lore featured mercenaries and Goblins who sold their services. Later, the Forsaken were reduced to fungus monsters with little concern for human and other life forms. The resulting conflict between the two factions has spawned several warring factions and numerous civil wars.
