When a Pokémon learns a ghost-type move, the move can be used against other types of Pokemon. Fighting-type moves are effective against five different types of Pokemon. They can boost the offensive potential of a Ghost-type Pokemon by dealing extra damage against Ice, Dark, Rock, and Steel. However, pure Ghost-type Pokemon are weak against Dark moves. If you don’t want to be stuck in a game where you’re constantly fighting with Dark-type Pokémon, this article can help you.

Normal-type Pokemon are immune to ghost-type moves
As the most basic type, Normal-type Pokemon have few weaknesses. They are incredibly weak to Fighting-type moves, but they are immune to Ghost-type moves, making them great counters against those types. In addition, they are highly resilient and have excellent defensive stats. Despite this, they also don’t resist any other type’s moves. Normal-type Pokemon are often considered the best defensive types due to their reliability and ability to recover quickly from attacks.
While Normal-type Pokemon are immune to Ghost-type moves, they are also weak against Fighting-type moves. The only move that will damage Ghosts is the Special Attack Ghost, which deals double damage. However, Ghosts take double damage from normal-type Pokemon, which makes the Ghost/Normal combo a powerful one. Normal-type Pokemon can learn and use more than one Ghost-type move.
However, there are a couple of exceptions to this rule. While some Pokemon can be immune to ghost-type moves, others cannot. For example, Pyroar is immune to Ghost-type attacks, but its Normal side makes it a great option for Pokemon battles. The Ghost-type is also good against Poison-type attacks, so if you are playing against one, it would be best to avoid using a Ghost-type attack on it.
Normal-type Pokemon are immune to bug-type moves
The bug-type Pokémon are not immune to any type of damage. They are weak against fire-type moves, rock-type moves, and psychic-type attacks. These Pokemon also take increased damage from electric, grass, and ground-type moves. However, unlike the bug-type Pokemon, Normal-type Pokemon are immune to all types of Contest moves, with the exception of Psychic, which is the strongest type against all other types.
Some Pokemon have immunity to different types. These Pokemon are immune to attacks of other types, or are not affected by them at all. When an attack hits a Pokemon that has immunity, it causes no damage or zero damage. The most common no-damage moves are Confuse Ray and Thunder Wave. However, it is important to note that not all Pokemon are immune to bug-type moves, making it very important to use the correct move combination.
In the Pokémon series, the bug type has always been considered weak to all types except the Fighting and Psychic types. This is due to the fact that bug-types can only be fought with other bug-type Pokemon. The Dark type, on the other hand, is strong against all types but is vulnerable to bug-type attacks. This type of Pokemon can also be used to catch Ghost-types. The Ghost type has a low resistance against bug-type Pokemon, making it a good option for Ghost-types.
Psychic-type Pokemon are weak to ghost-type moves
There are two types of attacks available for psychic-type Pokemon. Ghost-type attacks cannot be hit by Normal-type moves and vice versa. Ghosts also have the ability to walk through walls in Mystery Dungeon games, although this can increase the hunger of the Pokemon. Unlike other types of attacks, Ghost-type Pokemon cannot have double resistance to ghost-type moves. The only exceptions to this rule are Bisharp and Pawniard.
Although the Ghost type is relatively weak in the original games, it grew into an offensive powerhouse in later games. In Red and Blue, Ghost-types couldn’t deal with Psychic-type Pokemon because they were immune to Ghost moves. That changed in Generation V, when the Ghost type was able to deal with Psychic-type Pokemon. However, Ghosts proved to be a good neutral attack type, and are effective against other Ghost-type Pokemon.
A Pokemon that has the traits Protean or Libero will become a Ghost if it uses a Ghost-type move. The same applies to a Pokemon with Imposter or RKS System. Pokemon with Imposter will also become a Ghost if sent against a Ghost-type opponent. In addition, the Pokemon will become a Ghost if it has a Shadow Tag or is held by a ghost. Unlike normal-type Pokemon, Ghost-type moves are not affected by the Poison and Ground types.
