When setting up your Tenda Router, you’ll have to choose between static and PPPoE internet types. If you’re using the latter type, you will need to set up your service name and user name first. Once you’ve done that, you’ll need to configure the Tenda router to use this protocol. Fortunately, this process is relatively straightforward.
First, connect your computer to the Tenda F3 router. You’ll find a list of available networks on your computer’s desktop (Windows) or in your system preferences menu on your Mac. Select your network and you’ll see your Tenda F3 router’s IP address in the “Router” field next to it. For Windows users, you’ll need to find the IPv4 Default Gateway setting and click it. After finding the IPv4 Default Gateway setting, you’ll find your Tenda F3 router’s IP address and a new password.
Once your Tenda F3 router is configured, restart it. The new Wi-Fi settings will be remembered, and the Tenda router will restart with its new Wi-Fi configuration. To make sure that your Wi-Fi is secure, you should enable repeater mode, which consumes traffic from other routers and creates a wireless local area network. Then, you can enter the PPPoE username and password and click “OK”. The Tenda F3 router will restart with its new Wi-Fi settings.
