The quest for Yennefer of Vengerberg begins in Oxenfurt, where Stjepan, the innkeeper at the Alchemy Tavern, challenges players to a game of Gwent. For each player who wins, Stjepan will hand out a unique card: Yennefer of Vengerberg, a Hero card with a seven value. Once you win, you can then play it on your own.

Easy opponent in Gwent
Beating Stjepan is not a difficult task if you know the basic strategies in Gwent. It is important to buy cards from the inkeepers and traders to get an edge over him. One way to win is to earn the most points with the fewest cards. If your opponent is not a monster, you can even forfeit a round if it looks like you can win the round.
Playing Inkeeps is a continuation of the previous quest, “Beating Stjepan”. You must defeat three opponents in different locations. Among them, you can face Stjepan the innkeeper from Oxenfurt. The other two are the innkeepers in Farcorners and Novigrad. You can use the Nilfgaard deck for the first two. For the third opponent, you can try a Monsters deck, but if you do not have one yet, you can also play Oliver. Oliver can also be found in Novigrad, where you can also defeat Stjepan. Alternatively, you can try to defeat Tibor Egweighed in Oxenfurt’s inn.
The final opponent you will face is Tybalt. You have to beat him three times in order to complete this mission. You can either defeat Tybalt in Gwent or defeat Stjepan in tournament games. As long as you defeat him in three separate fights, you will receive the final trophy and leader card. You should aim for level 26 or higher for this quest. Just remember to be patient as Stjepan can be frustrating at times.

You can obtain Yennefer of Vengerberg by beating Stjepan the innkeeper in Oxenfurt. This quest unlocks a new sidequest: Playing Innkeepers. While beating Stjepan, you will need to avoid his nasty monster deck. This deck features the Biting Frost weather card, which neutralizes all of Tybalt’s units. Tybalt can also run out of cards during the battle, which can cause him to pass his turn before freezing your units.
