Crossbow Expert
The Crossbow Expert feat lets your character make a ranged spell attack as a bonus action. By default, your crossbow fires one shot per action, bonus action, or reaction. However, you can use this feat to make your crossbow fire twice a turn. You can also use a magic item that grants bonuses to ranged attacks, such as a crossbow. You should take advantage of this feat to maximize the potential of your crossbow.
The Crossbow Expert feat is a very powerful weapon for rogues and fighters. It can get a ranger out of tight situations and give them up to four additional attacks. While rogues have their own class features that take care of skill rolls, fighters and rangers will benefit from the increased damage and bonus attacks. This feat is best for rangers who use spells that allow ranged attacks.
Spell Sniper
The main downside of Spell Sniper is that it’s not very flexible. Because it only works with cantrips that make spell attacks, it can’t be used by all classes. In most cases, a spellcaster is locked into a single class with the same spellcasting ability, so Spell Sniper doesn’t benefit them. Some spellcasting classes, however, have no such limitations.
The Spell Sniper feat lets you double the range of your ranged spells. The range of a spell is doubled, and it stacks with Eldritch Spear. Eldritch Blast is a cantrip that augments Spell Sniper. Lastly, Spell Sniper is a good choice for a ranged character if you’re planning to do a lot of spell casting.
In addition to its range, Spell Sniper allows casters to cast Eldritch Blast or Eldritch Spear with their elemental damage abilities. Eldritch Blast’s range is doubled if you use an Eldritch Invocation and a Spell Sniper. This spell attack is great for characters with spell attacks. It’s also a great choice for characters that like to feel like snipers.
Fire Bolt
This spell attack deals fire damage and is effective against enemies with a high AC. It works against both creatures and objects, so your success rate will increase if you have high AC. Unlike other spells, Fire Bolt can target objects and can be used on both creatures and objects. As long as the target is within range, your Fire Bolt can deal high damage. The caster must use the corresponding Spellcasting Modifier to cast the spell.
While FireBolt 5e is one of the ranged spells, it can be used on both enemies and objects to avoid them. The attack does not affect Spiritual Weapon. However, some class features allow you to add your spell projecting capacity to the harm roll. Summoning wizards also gain enabled inspiration capacity at tenth level. This spell doesn’t affect your Strength or Wisdom, but it is still an effective choice for damage in combat.
Magic Missile
The first level of a magic missile is 6 points of damage. The damage is calculated by rolling 1d4+1, which adds the bonus you can apply to one target. If you are targeting multiple targets, you can use this spell to one-shot all of them at once. The damage varies depending on the number of darts you cast and the number of targets in the line of sight. Jeremy Crawford, lead designer of the fifth edition, says you should only roll 1d4 if you’re aiming at more than one target.
The Magic Missile is an Evocation spell that creates three magical bolts that deal damage to the target that you designate. You can use this spell on a single target if it is visible to you. Obviously, the Magic Missile is a Wizard or Sorcerer spell, but it can also be taken by Arcane Domain Clerics. Regardless of class, you can make use of this spell to strike slick enemies and make sure you deal a killing blow when the situation calls for it.
