How Do You Whisper on OSRS?

The most common question from players is: how do you whisper on OSRS? Well, it is surprisingly simple. You just need to have the right settings. To make it even easier, there is an easy-to-follow guide! This article aims to walk you through the entire process from joining a Friends Chat channel to exiting it. It will also teach you how to find and click on the “whisper” button so that you can start whispering.

Getting into a Friends Chat channel

Sometimes when you try to join a friends chat channel in Osrs, you’ll receive an error message. This may be because the channel has reached its capacity and you cannot join yet. If you’ve encountered this error, you should try to contact the channel owner or a member with the ability to kick. If the owner of the chat channel is active, he will remove inactive players from the channel, giving you more room.

To start, you can find the Friends Chat menu in the Chat window. It should look something like the image below. Notice the “Friends” section does not have any numbers in it, as this is the order of the different sections. Click the “Friends Chat” section and select the chat group you want to join. If you don’t want other players to see your profile, you can hide the chat window or resize it to whatever size you like.

To enter a Friends Chat channel, you can type the name of the channel into the message box. From there, you can send messages to other members of the channel. After selecting a channel, you can see the list of its members, their ranks, and the world they are currently in. If you click on any of these people, you will see their messages. The messages you send will be seen by all players in the channel, but the people who are on your ignore list will not see it.

Getting out of a Friends Chat channel

Sometimes you cannot join your friends chat channel because it is full. If you’re unable to connect to the chat, you can contact the channel owner, or another member with the ability to kick people. You can also ask them to delete their inactive players in order to make room for other players. Then, you can try again later, but this will most likely cause an error message.

To change your Friends Chat permissions, go to the settings window, and look for the Community tab. This tab is located in the lower right-hand corner of your screen. Click on it, and you’ll see an icon that changes as events occur. Click on the grayed-out icon to make it appear on your screen as well. You can then add or remove your Friend Chat window to any window you want.

To kick a user, you should right-click their name and choose “Kick this person.” This will remove them from your chat, and ban them for one hour. When this happens, you cannot re-enter that channel for a while. In addition, if you’re kicked from a Friends Chat channel, you won’t be able to rejoin it for another hour.

Joining or exiting a Friends Chat channel

Having trouble joining or exiting a Friends Chat channel in Osrs? There are several ways to fix the problem. You can either contact the channel owner, or a member with the ability to kick a player for not being active enough. This way, you can free up a space in the channel for more active players. Alternatively, you can set up a restriction to only allow friends of specific players to join a channel.

Osrs has a bug whereby text in a Friends Chat channel turns default when entering the player-owned house. This glitch was not fixed in the 10 January 2011 system update. As a result, every player was ‘kicked’ from every chat channel. As a result, you would see the message “You left the channel”.

If you encounter someone breaking the rules, you can report him or her by using the report abuse button located on the channel’s Jagex interface. You can also find the “join” and “exit” buttons in the channel’s interface. If you try to join a Friends Chat channel but get an error message, you may have entered a wrong name. Either the player in the name doesn’t exist in the game, or the channel owner has not set up a Friends Chat channel.
