In Star Wars Episode VII, we have the character Anakin Skywalker. The character has grown to be a bit annoying. We also have Count Dooku, a former Jedi who is secretly the Sith Lord Darth Tyranus. He is leading the Confederacy of Independent Systems out of the Republic. Anakin is accompanied by his bodyguard Padme, who is romantically attached to him. The two end up in the planet Geonosis, where they are attacked by droids and then saved by Obi-Wan’s army.

Rian Johnson’s message in Star Wars the Last Jedi
Star Wars fans are divided over whether Rian Johnson’s film has reached its full potential. While his previous Star Wars movies have largely avoided the problems associated with prequels, Rian Johnson’s Last Jedi has sparked controversy. The film’s audience scores are higher than those of its critics, a sign that fans are enjoying it more than critics. Read on to find out what Johnson has to say.
The film’s message is surprisingly aimed at the Star Wars fanbase. While several characters mention letting the past die, fans assumed Rian Johnson had little interest in the past of the Star Wars franchise or the future. Rian Johnson has since explained that this concept just doesn’t work in Star Wars. This is especially true of the scene where Rey and Kylo Ren confront Kylo Ren.
Rey’s relationship with Kylo Ren
The relationship between Rey and Kylo Ren has been a contentious one from the beginning. While both characters have shown compassion and concern for one another, their love story is also tainted by Kylo’s cruelty and penchant for evil. A deeper relationship would have required redemption and suspension of disbelief on the part of both characters. Reylos, a group of fans that advocate for a more complex relationship in Star Wars movies, argue that this pairing should have ended earlier.
Despite the ambiguity of Rey’s motivations, the character remains an interesting character, a central theme of Star Wars. The last Jedi shows that Rey sees the light inside Kylo Ren and calls him Ben. In Star Wars, one deed can redeem a dark soul. Anakin Skywalker’s final moments in the film were dedicated to killing the Emperor, which redeemed his soul. In this way, her true love could save Kylo and bring Ben Solo back into the fold.
Rey and Kylo’s communication through the Force
There are many plot holes in The Last Jedi. There are too many missed opportunities for Rey to become anything more than a pawn for Kylo. The character never develops beyond being tempted by the Dark Side of the Force. It’s unfortunate that the film failed to take this into account. I would have liked to see Rey’s character arc develop more.
As far as the characters are concerned, the last Jedi shouldn’t have ended with Rey and Kylo communicating through the Force. The Force has always been the medium for these characters to communicate. Since the original trilogy, characters have communicated and felt each other through the Force. There was enough tension between these two characters to make their communication through the Force feel natural.
Rey’s relationship with Luke Skywalker
Rey’s father and uncle were both murdered by the evil Emperor Palpatine in the previous film. During the sequel, Kylo Ren takes advantage of this to turn Rey against her parents and make her feel a burden. In addition to this, Rey was already coping with the loss of her family when she embraced Finn. The film’s ending left viewers wondering if Rey had any connection with her parents.
While we know that Luke and his family were dead when the Empire Strikes Back, we don’t know if the remaining Jedi or Force sensitives were. It’s unclear how they could have reunited, as Luke’s death implies all the Jedi and other Force sensitives have died. The movie ends with the characters’ non-consensual bonding. This is a big flaw in the movie’s plot.
Snoke’s role in Star Wars
Despite his apparent incompetence, Snoke had been a powerful force in the First Order for many years. A Sith acolyte, Snoke was responsible for training stormtroopers, indoctrinating children, and building a military force against the New Republic. In addition to his role in the rebellion, Snoke was also a key figure in the reorganization of the Empire. Ultimately, Snoke ascended to the highest position in the First Order and became its Supreme Leader.
While Andy Serkis was cast as Snoke, his character was redesigned by director Rian Johnson. Serkis’ performance did not match the CG Snoke, so the visual effects team decided to increase the size of the character to accommodate Serkis’ physicality. This allowed Serkis to make the role look more organic. The redesigned character resembled the character’s original design, though it was much larger than his actual size.
