The ground level inside the foundation of a basement is one floor below the top floor. This ground can be used just like any other level in the house. You can also delete the foundation walls and replace them with normal ones. Those walls are now white. Place decorations and items on the walls of the foundation, but remember to use the moveobjects cheat! After you’ve built the basement, you can add a staircase.

Building a basement while looking at your house on the surface

The game provides you with a convenient feature that lets you build a room beneath the ground floor without having to add a foundation. The basement feature can be used to build a room that is larger than other floors, but the room cannot be accessed without stairs. In Sims 4, you can also choose the size of the room as well as the shape and style of its floor.

To build a basement while looking at your house on top of the surface, you need to go to the building site and click on the button that says “Build a basement”. Then, click on “Build a basement while looking at your house on this surface.” This will reveal the basement level. Then, you can start placing rooms by selecting them from the gallery, library, or styled room sections. These will appear after a slight delay.

In Sims 4, you can use the basement tool to build a basement while you are looking at the surface. It is easy to use and will allow you to make a six-story mansion. You can use it on a single lot or the entire lot. You can also use the regular Wall tool to build a basement. Using the latter will enable you to create an open basement that can be used by the Sims.

Adding stairs to your basement

Adding stairs to your basement in Sims 4, is simple, but you will need to know how to do it correctly. To do so, first cut away the foundation in your house. Once you have cut it out, you will have to link the stairs to the other objects on the house. Finally, delete any offending objects to finish your basement. Adding stairs to your Sims basement is important, but only if you really want them there.

To begin adding stairs to your basement, first create a new level. You can do this by using the Basement tool and dragging a shape from the foundation to the basement. Don’t delete any floor squares, or you’ll end up with a tiny stair case that leads to your foundation level. While the ground floor is still the lowest level, you can use shift to drag stairs down. This works great for spiral staircases too!

Once you’ve completed the first set of stairs, you can go back and add another one if you want to change the style or the color scheme. You don’t have to remove the first set. Simply select the new stairs and place them over the existing ones. You’ll have to pay the difference in price. This will take up a lot of your space, but it’s worth it to get a new basement room.

Building a split-level basement

To build a split-level basement, you’ll first need to draw the contour of the basement. Next, add stairs to connect the two levels. Basements are similar to split-level areas above ground. Basements are useful because they add depth to a build. You can even build a loft above it. However, you should be careful not to build stairs on the loft level, as this will obstruct the view of the main level.

The best way to reach the basement level is to go into Gallery or Build/Buy mode and browse the rooms there. Select the one that fits the shape of the basement and place it. Keep in mind that once it’s underground, its doors and windows will disappear. Fortunately, you can also place rooms in the basement from the library or gallery section of your house. Choosing a room is easy as it appears after a little delay.

Before you build your basement, you’ll need to place a foundation wall above it. If you want to build a split-level basement, you’ll need to place at least one wall above it. Then, you can place one wall at a time, one at a time. Make sure you have a wall on either side of the basement entrance, or you’ll end up with an uneven ground surface. Unlike building rooms above, basements do not require pre-zoning.
