If you’re not happy with the Resident Representative you chose in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you can change it! You will find this option in the ‘Residents’ menu. It’ll let you change where things go, and where bridges go. While it may be nice to have a Resident Representative who has more things to do than the others, it’s not ideal – Nintendo may decide to change this in the future.

Resident Representative
If you’re looking to make a change in your Resident Representative in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you should know how to do so. The Resident Representative is the first player you meet when you start the game. Once you’ve met this person, you can use them to complete tasks and reach milestones. Unlike in Animal Crossing: World Adventures, however, you can’t change the Resident Representative of your island. To change the Resident Representative, you need to delete your town data and start the game with a different player.
If you’re looking to change the Resident Representative in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you’ll need to delete your first character and save data. This is a critical step in changing your character because the Resident Representative will never move to another island or player profile. The Resident Representative of the first player account will have more permissions and the Resident Representative title will remain on that character. To change the Resident Representative of your character, navigate to the System Settings menu. From here, select Delete Save Data and choose the name of the first character.
Island Ordinances
Animal Crossing: New Horizons includes several different kinds of Island Ordinances. These changes will change the behaviors of islanders and the economy of the island. You can set several different types of ordinances in the game, and you can even set up your own! In order to set up an ordinance, you must visit Isabelle in the Resident Services Center. Once you have done this, you can unlock the corresponding ordinance for the next day.
Once you’ve completed the process, you’ll need to change your animal crossing ordinances. You can change one or more at a time by selecting them from the list. Each change takes a day and refreshes at 5 AM. Ordinances can be canceled for free, but only one is active at a time. Once you’ve set up your Animal Crossing Ordinances, you’ll need to contact Isabelle.
Starter residents
If you’ve already played Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you’re probably wondering how to change the Resident Representative. Although Nintendo hasn’t made this feature available yet, it’s possible. Here are a few steps to take. First, start a new game. After you’ve played the first level, choose the Resident Representative that you want to represent your island. Then, follow these steps to change the Resident Representative.
In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you’ll have to delete your previous save data and first character. This is necessary, because once you change the Resident Representative on one island, you can’t move it to another one. Additionally, if you change the Resident Representative on a new island, you’ll have to create a new account and play the game from scratch. The game will have different default villagers and fruit when you start, but it’s worth a try.
Transferring residents to a new Switch
When you transfer your Animal Crossing save data from one console to another, all of your characters will be transferred to your new Switch. That’s good news, because you’ll no longer need to worry about transferring save data from your old console. But you should be aware that you’ll need to be connected to the same power source to transfer the data. If you don’t have a local wireless connection, you can’t use the Animal Crossing Island Transfer Tool. In order to use this tool, you must first log into the new console and transfer your account.
After you’ve successfully transferred your account, you should go into your Game Center and look for the “Transfer Residents” section. Here, you’ll need to identify the island you want to transfer your residents to. To do this, you’ll need to sign in to a new Switch and select the account associated with that account. You’ll need to verify that all information is correct. After you’ve completed all the necessary steps, you’ll be able to transfer your Animal Crossing resident to your new Switch.
