How to Find the Elden Ring in Skyrim

Whether you’re trying to get the Elder Ring in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, or simply scout out the area for treasure, there are a few different ways to locate it. Listed below are some tips that will help you find the ring in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. These tips will help you defeat the Ulcerated Tree Spirit, skeleton enemy, black knife Assassin, and God-Devouring Serpent.

Defeat an Ulcerated Tree Spirit

Defeat an Ulcerated Tree Spirit by equipping the Sage’s Cave Elder Ring. It’s possible to use this ring to deal more damage to Ulcerated Tree Spirits than any other weapon in the game. This wriggling tree spirit uses a wide range of attacks that you must be prepared to handle, including a mighty fire attack. It can be challenging to read its movements and will often one-shot you.

The first step to defeating an Ulcerated Tree Spirit is to equip the Sage’s Cave Elder Ring and head to Haligtree. You will find the Ulcerated Tree Spirit west of the Site of Grace. Go up a ladder and then through a door to approach it. After defeating it, two summon signs will appear. These summon signs will attack the Ulcerated Tree Spirit.

Defeat a skeleton enemy

The Sage’s Cave contains a secret area with a skeleton enemy. Defeat the skeleton as it comes up the slope. This will give you a Stonesword Key and you will be able to climb a ramp to the northeast. The area contains three chests. One will contain Dragonwound Grease while the other will have Raptor Talons and 10x Golden Great Arrows. The path will split and you’ll need to choose one. Once you’ve climbed up the steep slope, you’ll be able to find the other side of the waterfall. There are four chests in the alcove that you can loot, including one with five Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot.

Skeletons are the most annoying enemies in Elden Ring. These creepy, 7-foot-tall creatures continually swing at you when you’re close to them. If you’re not careful, they’ll constantly resurrect. This makes it vital to defeat the Skeletons as soon as possible. But be warned: you’ll have to fight a lot of them if you want to get the Elder Ring.

Defeat a black knife Assassin

The Black Knife Assassin is one of the optional bosses in Elden Ring. You can find him in the Deathtouched Catacombs, the northernmost part of Limgrave. To defeat him, summon Spirit Ashes or Lone Wolf Ashes. These creatures can tank the damage for you while you cast spells. As the Black Knife Assassin only attacks single targets, you can easily overwhelm him with wolves.

A Sentry’s Torch can be purchased from the Hermit Merchant for 7000 Runes. This tool will make the Assassin invisible. A Spirit Ash can also be used to distract the Assassin’s attention. This can increase your chances of hitting the enemy and obtaining an Elder Ring. If you fail to do so, you must defeat the Assassin using Mimic Tear Spirit Ash.

Defeat a God-Devouring Serpent

Defeating a God-Devouring Serpant with Sage’s Cave Elder Ring requires you to be patient. The first time you face the serpent, make sure to use a Status-Effect to reduce its damage. Then, use the shield to block its magma spout, which will significantly reduce the damage it deals. When the serpent attacks, it will lunge on you from one side and then the other. Once it raises its head high, it will make a sweeping attack with its tail and head. Luckily, the damage it deals with this attack is minor, so it can be dodged.

In the First Phase of Rykard, you must defeat the God-Devouring Serpent. While it’s not as difficult as Rykard, it’s the first boss of the game, and it’s an optional boss. The Serpent has its own health bar, so you should make sure you have enough health to survive it, otherwise you’ll die to the Second Phase. It also has poisonous spit and a range of attacks and bites that can kill you quickly.
