How to access the Magnetosphere Controls room
If you have the game’s Steam key, you can access the Magnetosphere Controls room in the first chapter of Prey. The doorway to this room is near the body of Ramon Ridley. To enter this room, you must rotate and thrust forward. Once inside, you can use the Psychoscope to explore the neural maps of typhon organisms. These maps will reveal their abilities.
In this room, you will find the remains of a scientist named Anders Kline. With the Maintenance Tunnel keycard, you can access the magnetosphere chamber and retrieve his body. The remains also contain a compartment with a specialized emergency supply and the workstation of Laurel Davis. These two items will keep you alive until you are able to use them. Disable the Magnetosphere
To disable the Magnetosphere, you must enter the Zero-G area. You can get supplies there. These supplies include 2 Recycler Charges, ReActivator x2t-00 Chipset, and Supply Crate containing 3 PSI Hypo’s. If you don’t have enough, you can power off your computer to disable the Magnetosphere. Then, simply head into the Arboretum and loot the body of Laurel Davis.

The first way to loot Laurel Davis’ Suit is to find her corpse. You will need to read the first email and download the area map before you can loot her body. Then, you must escape from the maintenance access tunnel so you can unlock the door leading to the Arboretum. Do not take the right turn and instead go to the left. After you unlock the door, the body will spawn a shockwave and you will need to move the boxes to reach it.
