Location of Alexander in Elden Ring
After completing the Dragon Temple Altar, Alexander can be found in the Crumbling Farum Azula area. Head east and cross the two square bracket shaped archways. Once you reach Alexander, he will challenge you to a duel. Once you defeat him, you will receive a Shard of Alexander and his Innards. Alternatively, you can use the Elden Ring Radahn Cheese Method to get a higher rank than General Radahn.
After defeating the Fire Giant, Alexander will appear on the large island in the lava. This is where you’ll find him, and he’ll be your next Elden Ring boss. You don’t need to summon him – he’ll be available to you even if you don’t summon him – but you’ll need two Stonesword Keys to get there. After completing this quest, you can go on to complete the final level of Elden Ring.
Finding him
The quest titled “Finding Alexander Unstuck Elden Ring” requires you to go to the lava lake on Mt. Gelmir. You will need to use the shield of the rock to approach Alexander. The next step will involve confronting the Fire Giant, which you can do once you have freed Alexander. This quest can be played on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Series X-S.
To find Alexander, you must go to the eastern part of Liurnia. You can get the Oil Pot from the Magma Wyrm near the site of grace. This is located on an island surrounded by lava. Walking on the lava will slowly drain your health, but it’s well worth it to be rewarded with the oil pot. When you find Alexander, you will be rewarded with an Oil Pot and three Exalted Flesh.
Questline
The Elden Ring Alexander questline ends in a giant lava pool adjacent to the Seethewater Terminus in eastern Mt Gelmir. You can find Alexander at the back of the lava. The Magma Wyrm boss can be tricky to deal with, but he’s not impossible to defeat once you’ve found him. If you’re stuck on this part of the questline, it’s possible to get unstuck by completing a few other parts of the questline first.
You can also approach Alexander in the southern region of Caelid to obtain the Elden Ring. Once you obtain the Elden Ring, you can summon Alexander for the next boss fight. Remember that defeating Radahn is optional. You can summon Alexander in the same region after completing the Site of Grace. Alternatively, you can wait until the end of the questline and defeat Radahn to complete the questline.
Getting the Shard of Alexander
To get the Shard of Alexander out of your Elden ring, you need to first defeat the dragon named Alexander the Iron Fist. Once you have defeated him, you will be able to pick up his Warrior Jar Shard, which will strengthen your Innards and Ashes of War. It will also allow you to complete the questline known as “Jar Bairn.”
To do this, visit the Carian Study Hall in Liurnia, where you will encounter Alexander. Then, purchase an Oil Pot from a merchant in the Siofra River, or craft it yourself using the Melted Mushrooms crafting item. You can also find Oil Pots around Nokron, Eternal City. Next, use the Oil Pot to attack Alexander, and he will fall free. The Shard of Alexander is obtained after helping him reach Crumbling Farum Azula.
In the game, you can summon the Shard of Alexander during the fight with the Fire Giant boss. There are also other locations where you can meet Alexander, including the cave below the Carian Study Hall. Once you get the Shard of Alexander, you can use the ring to summon him for boss fights. But before you do this, make sure that you have two Stonesword Keys to use it.
