How to Get Mermaid Kelpe in The Sims 4

In this article I’ll explain how to get mermaid kelpe in The Sims 4 so you can turn your sim into a mermaid! Before I get started, I want to clarify that the Mermaid Kelp you eat does not produce the special pop-up. Instead, it turns your sim into a mermaid in open water! The tail and clothing are randomized, though.

Getting mermaid kelp

Getting mermaid kelp is relatively easy in The Sims 4. To become a mermaid, your Sim must ingest mermadic kelp. You can obtain kelp by visiting a cave on an island or diving there. You can also get it by befriending a dolphin. It costs 500 Satisfaction but it will give you decent buffs.

To become a mermaid, a Sim must eat two Mermadic Kelp. Then, he or she must enter the water. If the Sim eats two pieces in a row, he or she will revert to human form. However, if you happen to find only one piece of kelp, you can continue eating it. When you are done, you will have two kelp to choose from.

Changing a mermaid’s mood

There are two different methods of modifying your mermaid’s mood in SimS 4. You can use the “Mermadic Kelp” trait to give your mers a happy mood. Eating seafood will cause your mermaid to have a happy mood, but this mood only lasts for 4 hours. To reverse this mood, eat two Mermadic Kelps. After that, your mermaid will return to their human appearance.

Once you have the permanent Mermaid life reward, you can use it to change the mood of other Sims in the game. The Inspiring Berceuse moodlet will change the target Sim to be happy, while the Night’s Requiem moodlet will make your Sim sad. The Mermaid’s Kiss is also useful when you want to improve your fishing skills by catching fish at Island Living Fishing Spots.

Changing a mermaid’s tail

You can change a mermaid’s tail by eating kelp. When your Sim eats kelp, they will turn into a mermaid and swim around the ocean. You can revert back to a human form if you eat kelp two more times. You must go to the ocean within 24 hours to change your sim back to a human.

Once you’ve transformed your sim into a mermaid, you’ll want to take care of their hydration needs. This is an important part of their new abilities, as they require water to remain mermaid-like. While a mermaid cannot die of dehydration, they may smell like rotten fish if they have too little water. While the ocean is the most natural place to fill their needs, pools and bathtubs are also logical places to fill their water tanks. When your mermaid takes a shower or bath, their tail will show through the water.

Changing a mermaid’s tail in Create-a-Sim

Changing a mermaid’tail in Create-a-Sim requires the player to know the etiquette for mermaids. These creatures should always swim in the sea at least once a day. Otherwise, they will get the Salt Water Deficiency and Adapting to Land moodlets. When dehydrated, mermaids will smell like rotten fish. The most logical way to rehydrate a mermaid is to swim in a pool or ocean. In the bathtub, their tail will be visible.

To change a mermaid’s tail, the player must enter the water in the game within 24 hours. To reverse this transformation, the player must eat kelp twice. In addition, they must enter the ocean twice within 24 hours. Changing a mermaid’s tail in Create-a-Sim is possible for both male and female Sims.

Changing the weather

Changing the weather in mermaid KELPS 4 is possible with the Seasons expansion, and if you have a mermaid Sim, you can use her kiss to create a sunny moodlet. You can also use her fishing lure at Island Living Fishing Spots to increase your skill level and catch more fish. The best part is, you don’t have to leave the game to do this.

While the mermaid kelp is free to use, the process is tedious. If you want to become a mermaid, you’ll need to swim for 24 hours. Changing the weather, however, is possible if you have a cheat in your inventory. You can also use traits to change your Sims to mermaids. First, allow cheaters to enter your house, and type in the traits you want.
