Exploring Mt. Gelmir
There are three ways to reach Mt. Gelmir in Elder Ring: one involves climbing the tall ladder near Volcano Manor, the other requires heading west to the Altus Plateau. To get to Mt. Gelmir, you need to travel northeast from the Grand Lift of Dectus and Old-Ruin Precipice, as well as west from the Shaded Castle. The path you take depends on the difficulty level of the area.
The best way to get to the pillar of Mt. Gelmir is to travel west from the Bridge of Iniquity and the Site of Grace. Then, you’ll need to find the Broken Bridge, where you will be able to reach the Map Pillar. Once you reach this pillar, you’ll have to fight the Fallingstar Beast. The Fallingstar Beast is a dangerous boss that you will encounter while exploring the area.
The Map of Mt. Gelmir can be found in the far northwest corner of the world map. It requires a high level to explore, but understanding the landscape is key. You’ll be traversing multiple levels of elevation, battling bosses, and encountering dozens of enemies. However, once you reach the ruins, you’ll be rewarded with a Map fragment that will enable you to continue playing Elder Ring.
Defeating bosses in Mt. Gelmir
The Mt. Gelmir region is located to the northwest of the Altus Plateau and is used as an overworld path to Volcano Manor. In the main dungeon, you’ll encounter one boss. A secondary boss can be found in Shaded Castle, which is between Mt. Gelmir and the Altus Plateau. You’ll want to defeat this boss if you want to receive an achievement or trophy. Once you defeat the boss, you’ll be able to use one of the Legendary Armaments that you can find in the world.
The Torrent can help you defeat bosses in Mt. Gelmir and the Altus Plateau, especially bosses that move on their heads or move semi-erratically. The Torrent also summons electric spikes to attack players, so it’s important to run away in a straight line. In addition, if you get caught in one of the spikes, you’ll have to retreat in a straight line.
The first boss in Mt. Gelmir’s Hero’s Grave is the Red Wolf of Radagon. Known as the Red Wolf of the Champion, this familiar face will reward you with Deathroot and Bloodhound Knight Floh spirit ashes. You can then feed the Deathroot to a Beast Clergyman or use a ladder to reach the top of Volcano Manor.
Getting map fragments in Mt. Gelmir
There are several places to find map fragments in Mt. Gelmir, including the bridges of Iniquity and Grace, which are both located in the Elden Ring. In the Elden Ring, you can get a map fragment from the site of grace, near a glowing sapling with two Golden Seeds. You can also get one by going to Volcano Manor, where Rya is a scout. To get this fragment, you must first complete the Rya’s Necklace quest. The quest is a key item, so make sure you complete it properly.
Once you have collected a few Dectus Medallions, you’ll need to travel to the Altus Plateau, which is a gateway to Leyndell, the Royal Captial. Once you’ve gotten there, you need to find two map fragments. During your exploration of the Academy of Raya Lucaria, you’ll probably be transported to Mt. Gelmir. From there, you can find another map fragment in Volcano Manor.
To get the Mt. Gelmir map fragment, you’ll need to travel to the northwest part of the Altus Plateau. You’ll find two Golden Seeds and the Outer Wall Phantom Tree Site of Grace. You can also find the map fragment in Mt. Gelmir high on the northwest part of the Altus Plateau. This step is a little bit tricky, so make sure you have a group of friends to help you out.
