Varre’s Bouquet armament
Varre’s Bouquet is an armament found in the Elden Ring. It has the appearance of a rose bouquet, but is actually a hammer. Its sharp edges and white mask make it look like it is made of steel. Its name comes from Varre’s speech style in the White Mask. You can get it by invading Varre’s Mohgwyn Palace, where he resides, before the Dynasty Mausoleum Midpoint Site of Grace.
While the Varre’s Bouquet is the least-damaging hammer in the game, it can deal a fair amount of damage if used correctly. Its bleed effect is particularly useful, as it can make enemies bleed. This hammer can be buffing with certain incantations, such as the Lord of Blood’s Exultation. This ability stacks with other incantations, and causes the bleed to bleed for 60 seconds. The Incantation Scale can be increased two times, which will give you a greater amount of damage.
Nameless NPCs
There are many different NPCs in Elden Ring. Each has their own name, role in the story, and a specific quest line. You can find each NPC in The Lands Between, Ranni’s Rise, and Elden Ring itself. While most NPCs are easily identifiable by their name, there are a few you’ll want to be aware of. Here’s how to find them.
The first nameless NPC in Elden Ring is White-Faced Varre. You’ll find him waiting for a new Tarnished near the “First Step” Site of Grace. While this NPC is nameless, he does have a storyline and some ties to Mohg, Lord of Blood. Although Covenants weren’t a staple of the Dark Souls series or Bloodborne, they were planned for incorporation in Elden Ring.
Varre, the first NPC in Elden Ring, is the most common Nameless NPC. His appearance is masked, and his role in the story is similar to that of Ringfinger Leonhard in Dark Souls 3. You can kill him to gain dapper equipment, but you can’t use his questline. Varre is locked once you’ve defeated Mohg. So, make sure to make a note of his location in the game.
Getting a War Surgeon’s set
Getting a War Surgeon’s Set is an excellent way to increase your protection and attack power when a character is bleeding. It increases attack power by 10% when blood is lost, making it an excellent choice for player builds that focus on bleed damage. Getting the War Surgeon set requires traveling to the Mohgwyn Palace area and then visiting the Blood lake area nearby. It can also be obtained by using Elden Ring Items.
The War Surgeon Set is a cloth set worn by Varre the White Mask. It increases your attack power by 10% for 20 seconds, and removes the neck drape. You can find the War Surgeon Set by killing Nameless White Masks near Mohgwyn Dynasty Mausoleum, which is northwest of the Palace Approach Ledge-Road Site of Grace. In addition, you can undo this armor piece at any site of grace, including the mob Boc the Seamster, where he offers free services.
Reaching Mohgwyn Palace via a waygate
If you’re looking for a place to do some leveling, you may want to try Reaching Mohgwyn Palace via teleporter. You can find a waygate teleporter near Yelough Anix Ruins in the Consecrated Snowfield. Once activated, you’ll be able to travel underground, to the Caelid region, and the Mohgwyn Palace.
The Consecrated Snowfield Waygate is located in the Elden Ring, and is not linked to the White-Faced Varre, but you may be able to use it at some point in the future if you kill the violator. If you’re having trouble finding the waygate, check for any existing invasions. If an invasion is blocking the gate, simply kill the violator and continue the quest.
After defeating the Behemoth Skeletons in the blood river, you can proceed to the palace. You can also grab the Golden Rune (11) if you want to move ahead in this area. Once you reach the castle, you’ll be able to grab five Bloodroses and an Albinauric. Finally, you’ll emerge from the cavern in the main part of Mohgwyn Palace.
