One of the many secrets of the Elden Ring is its hidden map fragments. These map fragments depict the area around you in hand-drawn style. While most maps will have mouse-over icons, subterranean locations may have none. Fortunately, there are a couple ways to access these maps. Here are a couple of suggestions. The first way is to get a companion. This is not always possible, so make sure to bring a good friend who knows the area well.

Site of Grace
To see the water terminus, the player must visit the Deeproot Depths, an underground area connected to Nokron, Eternal City, and the Siofra Aqueduct. Once there, players need to kill the boss, a large four-winged black dragon who uses lightning to fight. Afterwards, players must offer the Cursemark of Death to Fia, and she will move to the Prince of Death’s Throne, where the closest Site of Grace is located.
After defeating the boss, players can access the new grace located in the center of the room. The player can also find this treasure in the map section of the Elder Ring. Afterwards, the player can move on to the next region. Getting to the next region is similar to getting to see the water terminus, but there are some key differences. The first region is the hardest to reach and may take some time to complete.
Comet Azur spell
If you have ever wanted to explore the Water Terminus, you can use the Comet Azur spell in the Elden Ring. You can also combine the spell with the other Elden Ring abilities, such as Mimic Tear and Ashes of War. However, you must have at least three memory slots for this spell. The best time to use Comet Azur is during the early and late game.
To use Comet Azur, you need 60 Intelligence and three memory slots. You can also use Rennala to reallocate some attribute points, which is handy for reusing them later. You also need to be level 100 to cast Comet Azur. The downside of the spell is that it drains your FP very quickly, so make sure you have a plan for restoring FP if you do not have any.
Ranni sidequest
Once you have spoken to Ranni, you will learn about the mysterious quest that he’s given to Nokron. After speaking with Ranni, you will find out that he’s asking you to talk to three toy boys in the Siofra River to complete the quest. Once you have done this, you will have more information about the quest, and be able to begin the journey to Nokron. You will then need to travel to the city of Nokron, which is located in the eastern part of Limgrave. This quest is located near the Minor Erdtree and the Siofra River bank.
Upon completing the quest, you will receive a Carian Inverted Statue, which you need to use to activate the mysterious device in the Carian Study Hall. Afterwards, you will receive two items that will give you the opportunity to level up. You will also receive the Royal Greatsword, and the Carian Filigreed Crest, which can be used to level up your equipment and gain new skills.
Seethewater Cave
The easiest way to get to Seethewater Cave is to go through the Seethewater Site of Grace. The Imp Seal, which unlocks the entrance to the cave, is located in the northern room. There are also some fire geysers that you can use to summon the Leyndell Soldier. To unlock the Imp Seal, you’ll need Stonesword Keys. Once you have them, you can go inside Seethewater Cave.
The Seethewater Cave is located south of the Volcano’s entrance. It is only accessible if you possess the Stone Sword Key. It contains several enemies, including the Kindred of Rot boss, Servant of Rot, Rat, and Giant Poison Flower. Once you’ve reached the cave, you’ll need to head to the boss area and defeat him. Depending on your level, the Seethewater boss may also drop a Talisman.
Iron Fist Alexander
The Iron Fist Alexander is a NPC found on Mt. Gelmir, near Fort Laiedd. He can be found west of the Dragon Temple’s grace site. You can find him by navigating through the canyon near the bridge, and then climb up the hill to the top. To summon him, you must first kill the Dragon Wyrm, and then defeat the spawn point. Once you have defeated him, you will be rewarded with exalted flesh.
Once you’ve defeated him, you’ll have to find the Iron Fist Alexander and the water terminus, which you can find by following the path north. Once you arrive at the location, you will hear Alexander calling to you. Taking the quest to its completion will be a very rewarding experience. Alexander will also give you a Shard of Alexander and the Iron Fist innards.
