Lake of Rot

From there, you will find a path leading to Nokstella, the Eternal City, located west of the Lake of Rot.

When you get to the lake, use the pillars to reach the ledges. The first three will raise a small stone pathway, and the fourth will place you on a large platform. The Alabaster Lord is waiting for you there, and you can fight him for his Alabaster Lord’s Sword to progress to the next part of the quest. The final platform is the one next to the lake’s boss.

Scarlet Rot

If you haven’t yet completed the quest line in the dungeon, the River of Rot is one of the most difficult to reach places in the game. This dungeon is home to many enemies, including basilisks, aeonian butterflies, and trolls. There are some simple tips to help you reach this dungeon quickly and efficiently. The first tip is to watch your rot level. As soon as it reaches a certain amount, you should head north to the first platform with a round pillar.

Besides being able to see the area’s surrounding, you will also be able to spot a Basilisk, which will grant you with a Death status effect. If you manage to kill the abomination, you will be able to get the Immunizing Horn Charm+1, which will greatly boost your immunity. Likewise, if you’re aiming to get a rare item, the Flask of Crimson tears can be used to mitigate the effect.

Using the Mushroom Set to cross the lake

The Mushroom Set is the most famous armour set in Elden Ring. It offers the highest Immunity and can help you overcome various dangers, such as poison and Scarlet Rot. It can be helpful for those who face difficulties in the swamps and Lake of Rot. If you are looking for a way to get to the River of Rot, you can use the Mushroom Set.

To get to the Mushroom Crown, you need to first find the Crown piece in the Lake of Rot. You can reach this location through the Ainsel River Main, which is located in the Nokstella Waterfall Basin Site of Grace. Afterwards, you must climb a nearby stone column, jump across to its top, and loot the corpse for its item. The Mushroom Crown can be found here. Getting to Siofra River Well

The first objective in Getting to Siofra River Well is the Site of Grace, a building located down the ledge ahead. Using the summoning pool will distract the sniper and allow you to reach the Site of Grace. After that, you’ll have to complete a short puzzle to unlock the boss of the area. The puzzle involves lighting eight pedestals that contain fire at their bottoms. Stand before one of the pedestals and press a button to activate it.

You’ll find a lift inside the structure, directly behind the map stele. Take this lift down, and you’ll soon find yourself in the area. Once there, you’ll need to battle the Clayman creatures inside the site to obtain the Clayman’s Harpoon. The area around the Well is filled with materials, and if you’re looking for some bright materials, you’ll want to seek out the Golden Centipede. Grass and other herbs are also abundant in the area, and you’ll find plenty of Dewkissed Herba.

Activating a pressure plate

Activating a pressure plate to get into the River of Rot is one of the easiest ways to cross the Lake of Rot, a very dangerous place with a river filled with scarlet rot. To get there, head south-west from the Nokstella Waterfall Basin Site of Grace. You will then come across a small bridge that leads to a coffin and begin your epic quest.

Once you’re on the island, head to the third bell tower. From there, you’ll find an elevator. You’ll need to activate a pressure plate to get into the elevator. Once inside, jump down the elevator shaft to a chest with a Dagger of the Alabaster Lord. You’ll need to take care of a corpse first before you can move on.

Using the rotten breath incantation

Using the rotten breath incantion is a powerful weapon in the Elden Ring. This spell will cause your enemies to spew brown gaseous attacks, called scarlet rot breath. If you use this incantation correctly, you can even kick off boss fights using it! You should also keep in mind that the attack will also make them vulnerable to dragon suffocation seals, known as flyover seals.

The second ability that you can use to make the most of this spell is scarlet rot. You can purchase this from the Cathedral of Dragon Communion in Caelid. You must have 15 Faith to cast it effectively, and you must have 12 Arcane to use it. This will also allow you to drag your breath to maximize its damage.
