Site of Grace locations in Elden Ring
Sites of Grace are special areas in the Elden Ring that serve many purposes. They serve as fast travel points and save/respawn locations. Players must activate these locations to access them, and the golden aura and tiny tree roots of these sites indicate that they are places of grace. Resting at a Site of Grace will replenish HP, cleanse status ailments, and refill sacred flasks. Upon reaching a Site of Grace, enemies nearby will be revived.
There are two types of Sites of Grace in the Elden Ring: those located underground, and those found higher up. They can also be found near each other, like in the Stranded Graveyard and the Cave of Knowledge. However, the locations of these sites vary. If you’re looking to find a specific Site of Grace, you can use the map to locate it in the Elden Ring. Here are a few of the most popular locations to find a Site of Grace:
Defeat Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy
In Volcano Manor, you will face Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy. Rykard was once a human, but he fused his body with the God-Devouring Serpent, seeking to devour all other gods. This fight is much more exciting than it is challenging. Compared to the Storm King and Yhorm the Giant from Demon’s Souls, Rykard will be easier to deal with. The best way to fight him is with the Serpent Hunter, which will unleash massive power on Rykard.
Once you have killed the Tarnished, you will be able to take on Rykard. Once you’ve defeated him, you’ll be able to move to the boss room. Be sure to use your Mimic Tear to distract Rykard. Rykard will drop Remembrance of the Blasphemy and 130,000 Runes.
Avoid side characters in Temple of Eiglay
The best way to avoid the side characters in Temple of Eiglay is to explore it as much as possible. It is possible to avoid them entirely by adjusting to the similar path of the game. There is a small manor to explore south of the main room. If you don’t feel like fighting side characters, you can explore it and uncover the exit. You can even use the manor’s stairs as a way to gain experience points.
Before proceeding, make sure you know how to avoid the enemy from the previous room. The Man-Serpent and the Albinauric are enemies in this area. They are waiting for an opportunity to ambush you in the next room. Once you have defeated the enemies in this room, head back to the Temple of Eiglay. The north door will lead you to the lift. In this room, you can pick up a key item, the Serpent’s Amnion. Then, speak to Rya and give him the Serpent’s Amnion.
Obtain Potion of Forgetfulness
After completing the game, you should go back to the Volcano Manor and obtain the Tonic of Forgetfulness. When you first enter Volcano Manor, you will notice that Rya is missing. If you’ve been following her, you may want to take her out to the site of grace. After speaking with her, however, she will advise you that she’s leaving the area. You can also give the Tonic of Forgetfulness to Rya, and she will thank you.
In the Temple of Eiglay, you’ll find a quest item called Daedicar’s Woe. You can also find a farewell letter from Rya, named Zoraya’s Letter. The letter says that she’s going to take up her Mother’s work, and it hints at future DLC. To complete this quest, you’ll need to have a Tonic of Forgetfulness in your inventory.
