If you’re having trouble with the makeup on your Sims, try using the TSR Workshop. You can create multicolor makeup by using TSR Workshop, but you must install the correct plugins to make it work with DDS files. To install TSR Workshop, go to Start -> All Programs -> Graphics Program Plugins -> TSR Workshop. Once you’ve installed the correct plugins, you can open TSR Workshop and start creating multicolor makeup.

Composition Method 0
Using the Composition Method ‘0’ for layering makeup will make it easier to see the colors on your Sim’s face, as well as apply different makeup techniques. This method can also be used to make overlays. It will blend into the default skin if you add grey-scale textures. This method is great for adding face shaders and skin details, since the makeup will be visible on all skin-tones.
Composition Method 3
When you layer makeup, you’re using the Composition Method to determine how your cosmetics will blend into your skin. Composition Method values range from 0 to 4 and define the way things blend with your skin. Low values blend in with your skin while high values stand out on the face. Use a CompositionMethod higher than 3 to make the layering process faster and easier. In most cases, the higher the value, the better.
Generally speaking, using a higher Composition Method when layering makeup will reduce pixelation. However, using Composition Method 4 on an opaque texture will change the way the layering process looks. This is because Composition Method 4 will blow out the colors and make them difficult to blend in. You can also choose to darken the texture for better blend. Using Composition Method 3 on a semi-transparent layer will ensure that it blends in well with its surroundings.
Composition 0
There are two types of makeup: high poly and composition 3. High poly means a higher quality and a higher number means it blends into the default skin. Overlays are used for skin details and face shaders. Having the correct number of textures is very important as the higher the number the more dominant the layer. The default makeup is used for both genders, and it is very difficult to find a suitable one.
Composition 3
One of the most popular questions we get asked is how to layer makeup in Sims 3. The answer is pretty simple – you can layer your face paints, add custom eyes, and even scars – all on your Sim’s face! There are several ways to achieve this look, and this guide will walk you through each. First, you have to make sure that you have a Nraas Master Controller. In CAS, click on Category changes, then click on “Disable Makeup Filter.” Disabling this filter will allow you to use more than one makeup on your Sim, regardless of gender.
Once you’ve chosen a face color, use a lip product to create more detailed skin. Many lip products come with a deeper shade along the edge, which gives your Sim a more realistic look. Lipsticks come in two gorgeous reds, and there is even a neon green color! Eyes can also be layered, and you can choose to use any eyeshadow color to achieve a dramatic look.
Multicolor makeup
You can create multicolor makeup for your Sims with the TSR Workshop. To create this mod, you’ll need the proper plugins for the graphics program. Once installed, click Start Menu>All Programs>Customize>Graphics program plugins. You’ll want to check Face Specular and Face Overlay to determine how the makeup is applied. In the default game, you’ll have only one color for each makeup option.
To create unique looks, you can also use winged insect make-up, which comes in six different colors. You can also use rainbow face paint, which comes in two different swatches. A more subdued look is achieved with a simple pink blush, winged liner, and plumpish glossy-ish lipstick. You can apply these colors on your Sim’s cheeks to make them look more attractive.
