To respec your Elden Ring, you must defeat the Queen of the Full Moon, known as Renalla. After defeating her, you must fast travel to the Grand Library of Raya Lucaria. From there, you must speak with Rennala and talk about your quest. Resetting your stats will cost you Larval Tear, key items that are scattered throughout the Lands Between.

Defeat a sentient boulder enemy in the Nokron city
To respec the Elden Ring, you must defeat a sentient boulder enemy in the Nokstella area of Nokron city. The sentient boulder enemy is located in the Night’s Sacred Ground, which is also where you find the Mimic Tear Spirit Ashes. The other option to respec the Elden Ring is to go to the Nokstella, Eternal City, underground. The elevator to the Nokstella area is only accessible after completing the Elden Ring Ranni quest.
The respec process is pretty straight-forward. You will need to acquire a Larval Tear from a Sentient Boulder enemy in the Nokron city. These are very rare and you may want to wait until you have several Larval Tears. Once you have acquired a Larval Tear, you will see a screen where you can toggle your Attribute Points. You must spend one of your Larval Tears on respecling.
Next, you will need to defeat a sentient boulder enemy in the No Kron city. The sentient boulder enemy is located northeast of the Sacred Snowfield Area, between the First Place of Grace and the Sacred Snowfield Catacombs. After you have defeated the sentient boulder, you will be able to respec your Elven Ring.
Find Larval Tears
You will find Larval Tears in a few different locations in the game. You can find them underground in the Siofra River region near the Abandoned Merchant, and you can also find them in Nokron, Eternal City, when you finish the Ranni questline. These tears can be looted from a corpse inside of a building.
The easiest way to obtain Larval Tears is to follow the questline of Ranni the Witch. You can get this item from the lift near the Siofra River Well, which is just northwest of the Siofra River Bank Site of Grace. Once you have climbed the lift, you will find a merchant whose stall is located inside wooden scaffolding near a waterfall. There, you can purchase the 10th Larval Tear for 3,000 Runes.
The next way to get Larval Tears is to kill the Mimic Tear boss. You can use several tricks on this boss to get your 13th and fourteenth Larval Tears. You can also get the 15th Larval Tear from Nokron by defeating an iron ball that is located on the rooftop of a large building. You can also fight the giant Colossal Wormface once you get it, but you must defeat it first to obtain Larval Tears.
Defeat Volcano Manor’s God-Devouring Serpent
This quest will respec your Elden Ring if you have a Serpent Hunter weapon. It will also give you the talisman Crepus’s Vial, which makes you move silently. You will also gain access to Black-Key Bolts and Serpentbone Blade, which will cause poison to build up. In addition, defeating Tanith will reward you with a special weapon, the Serpent Hunter.
When fighting this serpent, you must be aware of its movement. You should avoid rolling forward into the serpent’s neck, since it will cause a wide magma eruption. You should be able to block it with your shield, but it can still do significant damage. You should roll away from the serpent’s head as soon as it retracts its jaws.
The God-Devouring Serpent will attack you from within the lava bed, and this is why powerful sorceries will be useless against it. While your melee attacks are effective, you should also equip the Serpent Hunter with the glowing sword. The Serpent Hunter skill Great-Serpent Hunt allows you to launch a long blade of light from the tip of the spear.
