AR+ mode

The AR+ mode on the camera in Pokemon Go is useful for catching distant Pokemon, especially Raid Bosses. While the instruction is terse, it does explain how to use the feature: move closer to the Pokemon before throwing your ball. In Pokemon Go, it’s very easy to catch a Pokémon by moving closer to it. You’ll have to practice patience though, as you’ll need to find a large open space before catching a Pokemon.

You can toggle the AR+ mode by pressing the feature on a Pokemon or by choosing the camera icon in the bag of items. To disable AR+, open the settings menu and tap on the AR+ toggle. To turn on AR+ mode again, uncheck the AR+ toggle. Then, go back to the settings menu and tap on Privacy, Camera, and then select the toggle on the left. Once you’ve enabled AR+, you can go back to taking photos of Pokemon in real-world scenes.

Buddy Pokemon

In Pokemon GO, you can learn how to use the camera in order to capture pictures of your favorite wild Pokemon. The camera in the game is a great way to get some fun pictures. You can also capture a specific type of Pokemon called a Buddy Pokemon. These Pokemon will grant you special perks when you snap a picture of them.
