In World of Warcraft, a Hunter has various abilities. These abilities can be used to kill mobs and to set up a trap. The most useful of these abilities is the Misdirection macro. If you’ve ever been caught off guard by an enemy ally, this macro will help you to avoid the repercussions of being caught. You can also use this to set the target of your Arcane Shot or Concussive Shot.

Misdirection macro
There are two versions of the Misdirection macro for hunters in World of Wrath: the regular one and the auto-update version. The former automatically updates as you use it. It’ll set your focus to a friendly target and cast Hunter’s Mark when you’re not in combat. You’ll find this macro especially useful if you use Misdirection a lot. However, if you’re not using it often, you can simply switch to the non-update version.
The other version is called Fake Death. It’s simple, yet effective. It works the same as the original macro, only with a different focus target. It also casts Auto Shot and Steady Shot when you’re out of combat. In addition to the two macros mentioned above, the macro also casts Aimed Shot and Arcane Shot whenever you are not in combat. The macro also casts Misdirection on a chosen friendly target, or to a pet. Besides that, it also casts Berserking, Rapid Fire, Serpent Sting, Viper Sting, and Tranquilizing Shot.
Arcane Shot
If you are a hunter, you’re probably aware of the benefits of using Arcane Shot. Not only does it do more damage than a steady shot, but it also procs Lethal Shots more often. For this reason, you should use a priority shit macro when you’re focused on a target, and hold shift for a couple of steady shots while moving around the map. Arcane Shot is an essential skill for hunters, so let’s explore some ways to make it better.
First, consider using an auto shot macro. This macro will target your target and auto-cast Auto Shot, Raptor Strike, Counterattack, and Mongoose Bite. It will also trigger a Kill Command, cast Misdirection, and pull the target. Finally, you can add Synapse Springs to the macro to use as an AoE. This will automatically acquire a new target when your current target dies, and will not turn itself off when you hit the trigger.
Concussive Shot
In order to properly utilize the Hunter’s ability Concussive Shot, you should know its nuances. The initial use of the ability slows the pursuer down by 50%. This effect is useful in various situations, including slowing down mobs and killing them while they flee. The cooldown on this ability is five seconds, and you should be aware of any inherent mitigations that your class may have.
One way to make a Concussive Shot macro work is to make sure that you are targeting the correct target when casting your ability. In addition to targeting the target, you also want to make sure that the ability is in the correct aspect. Most of the macros that target a specific area also check for Hawk or Raptor before combat. By using these macros, you will be able to effectively deal high amounts of damage, heal yourself quickly, and maintain general awareness in the arena.
Wing Clip
There are many great Hunter macros in World of Warcraft. One of the best is the Fall-Through macro, which casts Wing Clip at the highest rank on a target when low on mana. However, this macro will use the lower rank if you have a low mana bar and Counterattack takes precedence. You should also note that when holding SHIFT or CTRL, you’ll get additional commands like Track Beasts or Humanoids. Then, if you don’t have any modifiers, you can simply hit the /Stop-Casting command to stop the macro from casting.
Another macro you can use is the Concussive Shot. This is a great alternative to a concussive shot if you haven’t been able to get a chance to use it yet. It’ll also save you a few seconds of time during combat. And, if you’ve already got a Multi Shot cooldown, this macro will cancel the aggro that you had before.
Immolation Trap
When hunting, you should try to use the Immolation trap, which is very effective against elementals. If you use this trap correctly, you can quickly kill any target, including elementals. This trap is effective against single moving targets, but is often overshadowed by the Explosive Trap. Here are some ways to use this trap:
One way to do this is by using the Trinket Dynasty Mallet, which you can get from the Thriving Little Pluckers quest, the Enchanted Salve, and the Magnetized Scrap Collector. You can also use the Magenta Bomb, which you can place in various areas. You can also use the Immolation trap as a part of your Hunter macro.
Freezing Trap
Freezing traps are a useful tool for a Hunter in World of Warcraft. They can be useful in both PvP and PvE situations, as they prevent the user from clicking and taking their attention off of more important tasks. Besides, they let you perform certain actions without aiming them directly at the target, such as freezing a trap. These actions are also helpful in healing, as they will automatically place a circle on the other player’s target if the other player is not in a position to do so.
A great macro for the hunter is the Freezing Trap, which can be used while out of combat. This trap will cast Aspect of the Monkey and freeze an enemy. If you’re in combat, you can use another trap macro, Feign Death, which will cast the Aspect of the Monkey, and Raptor Strike, which will launch your character through a Mongoose Bite or Wing Clip. These are all great tools for your Hunter.
