This guide will help you defeat those who appear as slightly larger skeletal humans, also known as People Who Live in Death. These enemies attack slowly and will reanimate if they are not killed. To kill them, you must attack when a white glow is seen, which shows that they have died. You cannot use weapons against them if they have this aura. You must use a special attack on a People Who Live in Death to kill them.

Those Who Live in Death
In the Elder Scrolls Online game, a new class called Those Who Live in Death has been introduced. These creatures are not part of the Erdtree or the Greater Will. As such, they are considered blasphemous by the Golden Order. They lack Grace and have no place in the Great Will’s plan. Despite this fact, many Golden Order characters feel strongly about hunting Those Who Live in Death, and would even go so far as to try and destroy the Deathroot.
The game follows the story of the Elden Ring, a young girl whose destiny is to save her people. She became exiled after touching the Grace. She was sent to the Lands Between. In her time, she learned about Godwyn and wanted to become her Deathbed Companion. In exchange, she would give Godwyn the vigor of Tarnished, which would prevent the Persecution of Those Who Live in Death. The game is available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
Tibia Mariner
The Tibia Mariner summons skeletal undead enemies and teleports around Summonwater Village. Generally, this monster will let the player slash and dash at it, but he can occasionally slam into the ground. Another invader, Anastasia, the Tarnished-Eater, appears near the Smoldering Church and Caelid Wilds. These two monsters have powerful attacks that can be easily avoided by getting to their side of the boat.
In Summonwater Town, find the boss Tibia Mariner. This mob is located north of the Third Church of Marika in East Limgrave. You must face this mob to complete D, Hunter of the Dead questline and obtain Bestial Incantations from Gurranq. You can attack him from horseback if you are confident enough to stay away from the real threat.
D, Hunter of the Dead
D, Hunter of the Dead in Death – Elden Ring is an NPC with a full questline that runs the entire game. You can meet D near the Tibia Mariner boss in the Roundtable Hold. If you want to save Fia’s life, you can burn down the Erdtree at the “Forge of the Giants”. However, don’t worry, as the questline will skip the conversation with Fia.
To meet D, head to the Roundtable Stronghold. Fia will give you a quest for the Weathered Dagger, so follow her. Go to the room near the Blacksmith and kill D in order to get the Weathered Dagger. You’ll receive an Inner Order gesture as a reward. Fia will then disappear into the Deeproot Depths. Once you’ve fought Fia, you’ll be able to meet D, Hunter of the Dead.
Godwyn the Golden
The Death Ring is the heirloom of the demigod Godwyn the Golden, who was murdered by a crucible knight on the night of win’ry fog. Godwyn was the son of Godfrey and Marika and grandson of the first Elden Lord. The Elden Ring contains a rune of death that Godwyn received from the Tarnished champion, and this rune is imbued in the Ring by the spirit of the lion.
Godwyn the Golden was the first Demigod to fall to the Night of Black Knives, a devastating event that began with the Lunar Princess Ranni stealing the rune of death from Maliketh, and imbuing her assassins with the Rune of Death. Afterward, Godwyn’s spirit was destroyed and he died. As a result, Godwyn was cursed to live among the Those Who Live in Death, which are undead.
