Mark Haynes’ Patreon page
The creator of Super Mario Bros. Z, Mark Haynes, has launched a Patreon page for the game. Haynes has already collected over $900 through the page. Fans of the game have already transferred their support. However, this new Patreon page will be a bit more difficult to draw in casual patrons. The creator explains his reasoning for creating the Patreon page.
While Super Mario Bros. Z was a hit in its heyday, the web series was eventually cancelled after just nine episodes. While Haynes grew tired of making the episodes, he did not give the rights to anyone else. He still had an interest in completing the story. Mark Haynes’ Patreon page for Super Mario Bros Z will feature exclusive content from the game.
Characters
The fan-made crossover show “Super Mario Bros. Z” aired between 2006 and 2009 and had a total of eight episodes before being cancelled for a lack of interest. However, it recently returned to Newgrounds and YouTube. The fan-made show was created by Mark Haynes and features characters from Super Mario Bros., Sonic the Hedgehog, and Dragon Ball Z. Haynes’ character Alvin Earthworm alias is one of the main characters.
The episode ending is similar to that in Paper Mario 2: The Thousand-Year Door. Though there is no clear explanation for this, the phrase “Super Mario Bros. Z” was inspired by that game. Since the show was cancelled, it is unknown which episode’s ending was inspired by. However, it is believed that Alvin has stated that the episode ended similarly to “Super Mario Bros. Z”. The title of the episode is also the same as that of the episode in Paper Mario 2: The Thousand-Year Door.
Plot
A fan project that involves Super Mario Bros. Z is in danger of being pulled down, for various reasons. One possible reason is that the creators cannot use the IP of Nintendo without their consent. So, there are many fan projects that have no connection to the game whatsoever. But that doesn’t mean that they are useless. Rather, it means that the creators should stop doing them if they’re tied to the series.
Another possibility is that the Super Mario Bros. Z series will be cancelled. This is possible if the creators don’t like the way the show is turning out. A fan project like this can’t be licensed by Nintendo, and there is no official source of funding for the show. However, it’s possible that it’ll still be created, which means that it won’t be entirely unrelated.
Mecha Sonic
Mecha Sonic has the same abilities as regular Sonic, except that he’s more powerful. His primary power is his speed, which can be used to get ahead of his opponents. He’s also capable of hovering, but the duration of his airborne state is not specified. Mecha Sonic can also roll into a ball and spin around, just like his normal counterpart. Despite his speed and mobility, the missile launcher is one of the best attacks he can use.
Mecha Sonic’s design and voice have been heavily influenced by the villain Cell in Dragon Ball. During the game, he has voice clips from Mortal Kombat 3 cyborg ninjas and Cooler from the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi series. The character also has some similarity to the villain Frieza’s brother, Cooler.
Bowser
The infamous King Koopa, also known as Bowser, is the main antagonist of the Super Mario Bros. series. He leads an army of creatures and has as his goal to kidnap Princess Peach. Despite being repeatedly defeated by Mario and his brothers, Bowser remains a persistent threat and vows to finally conquer the Mushroom Kingdom. During this game, he must team up with Mario to defeat another much more powerful threat.
One of his most infamous attacks is the Kamehameha Hadoken, a powerful sword. Its name comes from Queen Pesca VIII of the Mushroom Kingdom, who ruled the Mushroom Kingdom centuries ago. “Pesca” is a synonym for peach. In addition to the Kamehameha, Bowser also creates a new minion called Basilisx, who lacks empathy.
