Is WOW coming to console? What are Activision’s plans for World of Warcraft? Will players be able to play their favorite MMO with a keyboard and mouse? What controls are available in WOW? Can the game’s UI and commands be adapted to consoles? The answer to these questions is a resounding no. There are several factors that will have to be taken into consideration before World of Warcraft is brought to consoles.

Diablo 3’s lead platform is console
While the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 are likely to see Diablo III later this year, the future of the console version is not yet clear. Although the Diablo franchise has previously appeared on PCs, Blizzard recently stated that the game is destined to be a success on consoles. As such, fans can expect a different Diablo experience and an entirely new release date for the console version. The question now is whether this is possible.
While consoles and PC gamers can play Diablo 3 together, Xbox and PlayStation owners will not be able to play the Seasons content. The lead designer, Kevin Martens, explained to GameSpot that the console version of the game does not support Seasons because of the differences between the two platforms. The idea behind Seasons is that the player can create new characters and start playing the game from the beginning. Blizzard has updated the Season 2 content on both platforms and is working on a cross-platform version.
Activision’s plans for World of Warcraft
If World of Warcraft were to make the jump from PC to console, it would increase its fan base exponentially. Console play would allow more players to try the game out and make it compatible with controllers. That said, it’s far too early to say whether it will come to console. Activision has not confirmed any plans to bring World of Warcraft to console. If the company does decide to make it console-friendly, it will only be the next step in the gaming franchise’s evolution.
It’s unclear how long it will take before we’ll see World of Warcraft on Xbox One. Activision announced plans to release “World of Warcraft” on console and mobile devices in 2022. However, the company did not name any titles or release dates for the mobile versions of the game. In the meantime, Activision said it was working on new content for the Warcraft franchise.
Diablo 3’s UI
Despite the fact that Diablo 3’s UI is currently available on PC, it’s clear that the action bar will be coming to consoles as well. The console version will have a darker UI, with the action bar being located at the bottom left corner of the screen. However, players who prefer the PC version will still have the option to move it to the bottom left corner. This change will bring the game’s user interface closer to the way many gamers prefer it.
In the PC version, the UI is largely the same, except for the lack of a health orb and level gauge. Instead, you’ll see an area with your current level and skills equipped. There will also be a button to take potions, as well as a resource globe where you can get basic information on the world around you. Ultimately, the UI on the console version will be similar to the one on PC.
Diablo 3’s keyboard and mouse
The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles will both get a version of “Diablo 3,” but the game’s keypad and mouse controls will be different. Traditionally, the keyboard and mouse are used to control abilities and spells. While a keyboard can be used to press both buttons, the mouse cannot be held in two places at once. For advanced players, function keys can be used to remap the left and right mouse buttons. Players must press the function key when they wish to use an ability or spell.
For PC players, the keyboard and mouse can provide more precision, and they’re more comfortable controlling their character than a controller. The console version will allow players to pick up and use a variety of abilities and spells in addition to selecting specific targets. The console version is likely to feature the Diablo II Resurrected’s keyboard and mouse, as well as a full keyboard and mouse interface.
