Leveling up tier 2 gems

The first method involves leveling up gems. Gems can be leveled up by combining three of the same level. Gems are associated with an area, and can be purchased or traded on the Auction House. Players can view which gems they currently have equipped in their Character Profile. Gems can improve damage and reduce the cooldown of class skills. When they are leveled up to tier 3, they are half as effective as tier one gems, but can still give a great deal of boost to their overall stats.
If you are interested in leveling up tier two gems, you should know that you cannot fuse tier 1 and tier 2 gems. Gems are not fuseable, and you cannot change a Damage-increasing gem into a Cooldown-reducing gem.
