I have a confession to make: I recently started playing Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and Animal crossing to trigger a rape flashback. These games sparked a very real reaction in me. I have never been so emotional in my life. But, I will admit, I did have a bad rape flashback when I first played Wreck-It Ralph.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

The series’ first game introduced an incredibly realistic and believable rape situation in which players killed an innocent woman. While this might not be the norm, it happened in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. You’ll play as Venom Snake, a mercenary operative who narrowly escapes a brutal XOF attack. His mission is to take revenge on Cipher. In his quest to do so, Venom Snake must face the Soviet army in Afghanistan, African PMCs under Cipher’s control, and a mysterious new weapon.
