A question that may pop up is – can you multiclass a Druid, Rogue, or Artificer? These classes are extremely common, and many people play them in addition to their original classes. But how can you multiclass in Roll20? And, can you multiclass a Warlock, too? Here are some ideas. I’ll also touch on elf magic. Here are a few things to consider when choosing a multiclassing class.

Druid/Ranger multiclass

A Druid/Ranger multi-class is a fantastic option for a powerful weapon-wielding Druid. The half-caster Ranger augments the Druid’s spellcasting, and the two classes can also choose their own preferred enemy. Unlike most other classes, druids do not have to learn the spells of both classes.

Rogue/Ranger

Multiclassing your Rogue/Ranger character is relatively easy in Dungeons & Dragons Fifth Edition. Since the Rogue and Ranger classes share similarities and differences, you can use them in combination to create a powerful character. Assigning the best attributes to both classes will ensure that you build a character that shines. Add subclasses, feats, and spells to make your multiclassing character even more unique.

If you are looking to create a multiclassed Rogue/Ranger character, go with a strength-based ranger. A ranged character with a high strength ability score can multiclass into a totem warrior barbarian, a totem warrior, or a pirate hunter conclave rogue. You can also use the human variant of a ranger as a multiclass totem warrior.

Artificer

The Artificer is the first official class outside of the Player’s Handbook. They use technology to accomplish magic and make magic items. While this may sound strange and counter-intuitive, multiclassing is a great way to give your character a more diverse skill set and more depth. In this article, we’ll take a look at the multiclassing options for Artificers. Also, check out our article on the best multiclassing items for the Artificer.

An Artificer can multiclass with another class, but they should consider the class as their first choice for the most versatile combination. For example, a Thief can add a thief skill and a Ritual Cutter skill to their repertoire. Taking this option, however, means that the Artificer can’t take a level in another class if they’ve already acquired the Artificer class.

Warlock

If you are considering Multiclassing as a warlock in Roll20, you will want to focus on the CHA and CON stats. The charisma modifier will increase your spell power, but it’s not just about being nice to other people. The constitution stat will increase your concentration during combat and provide you with additional hit points. Besides these, most warlocks don’t have substantial armour or weapon abilities.

Your warlock’s patron will determine which spells and abilities you can cast. Patrons can be easy-going or horrifying, literal patrons of art or even undead creatures that evade death and disease. When you decide on a patron, keep in mind the reason for the pact. Some patrons will give you three different warlock boons at third level. While this may seem like a lot of work, warlocks can use their patrons’ favored alignment to get a few bonuses.
