It’s possible to Mega Evolve Legendaries, but they aren’t usually allowed to compete in competitive battles. However, these rare and powerful Pokemon can be a great trophy for collectors! This ranking is based on the number of Pokemon you can get in Shiny forms in any game, their aesthetic appeal, and the sheer power of their Mega Evolution stats. In addition, we’ve included powered-up versions of these Pokemon, even if they don’t technically Mega Evolution.

Pseudo-Legendary Pokemon
Pseudo-Legendary Pokemon are those with a Base Stat Total Value of 600 or more. To become a Pseudo-Legendary, a Pokemon must evolve from one of the following Pokemon: Dratini, Larvitar, Pupitar, Tyranitar, or Bagon. The following list provides a general overview of each of these Pokémon.
Dragapult: This Pokemon has a weak ATK stat and is not particularly effective in combat. Its weaknesses are similar to that of Goodra, but it lags behind in STA. The lower CP of this pseudo-legendary Pokemon makes it susceptible to Fairies. This Pokemon will have many more Fairy types in the upcoming Gen 7 version. This will leave Kommo-o vulnerable to attacks from Fairy Pokemon, which are already legendary.
Pseudo-legendary Pokemon can be single or dual-type. However, these Pokémon cannot evolve into legendary Pokemon if their type is not Dragon. To evolve into a Pseudo-legendary, a Pokemon must have immunity to one or more types of attacks. Some Pseudo-Legendary Pokemon are not even Dragon-type.
Articuno
The legendary birds in Pokemon are Articuno, Magearna, and Lopunny. They are the first of these Pokemon to evolve into legendaries, and their names derive from the Italian word for “one.” Artic is short for “Artic”, and the other two are named after different animals. As with all Pokémon, Articuno has its share of weaknesses and strengths. As an Ice type, Articuno is vulnerable to Rock and Electric attacks, but can deal Ice damage.
In Pokemon Sun and Moon, you can catch Articuno with a strong rock type Pokemon. In order to catch Articuno, use a rock-type Pokemon and a special moveset. This way, you’ll be able to deal more damage to Articuno. However, you should always save your game before catching Articuno. This way, you won’t repeat the same mistake.
Terrakion
Unlike other Pokemon that can evolve into legendaries, Terrakion is a member of the Swords of Justice. This powerful, stocky Pokemon is capable of high attack, defense, and speed. While its lack of Special Attack makes it a difficult opponent, its stats and type advantages make it worth your attention. The tetramorphic stone helps it to defend Pokemon from humans, and its short tail adds to its attractiveness.
Although Terrakion is weak against most other types, it is most powerful against rock, grass, and psychic-type Pokemon. It can only be caught in raids and is considered a rock-type monster. Its attack stat is very high, making it one of the best Rock-type Pokemon to use with Rampardos. Despite its high stats, however, Terrakion’s weaknesses make it an excellent choice for teams with a strong psychic-type.
Virizion
Virizion is a type of grass/fighting Pokemon. It has a justified ability, which increases its Attack by one stage when hit by a Dark-Type move. It can’t evolve, as it is in the Undiscovered Egg Group. The maximum level for Virizion is level 100, and it takes a total of 1,250,000 experience points to reach that level. This Pokemon looks like a deer or an antelope.
Virizion is a dual-type Pokemon, with stats of 192 attack and 229 defence. Its weak points include Poison, Bug, Dragon, and Flying moves. It is strong against Water and Electric moves. It cannot evolve into a legendary Pokemon. In Pokemon GO, it cannot evolve into any other type, so it is best to catch Virizion in the wild.
