Should I Round My PD Up Or Down?

When measuring your PD, you should either round it up or round it down to give the smallest value. Your PD is a standard measurement of distance from your eyes to an object, and it is about 62mm for a man and 64mm for a woman. Children’s PDs range from 41 to 55mm. PDs can vary by three to four millimeters, but they narrow when you’re looking at an object at 16 to 24 inches away.

PD is rounded up or down

First, you must know how to measure your PD. Measure your PD by standing eight inches away from a mirror and holding a millimeter ruler against your brow. Line up the zero on the mm ruler with the center of your left pupil. Now, close your left eye. Open your right eye and read the mm line over the center of your right pupil.
