Siege of Orgrimmar Guide – Can You Skip Immerseus?

The question that we’re asked most often, can you skip Immerseus? In this guide, we will look at the Combat mechanics, Enrage timer, Swirl ability, and Corrosive Blast. There are other aspects of the game you will want to learn, too. For example, you should know about the Swirl ability, which allows you to turn a tank into a melee weapon.

Combat mechanics

During the Siege of Orgrimmar raid instance, you will first encounter Immerseus, a titanic elemental. The name Immerseus comes from the fact that he is the physical embodiment of corrupted reservoir waters. Ancient Pandarians understood the importance of the Pools of Power, and they built underground aqueducts to transport the water. However, over time, these reservoirs have become contaminated and twisted, and this has caused them to become corrupt. Throughout time, these corrupted waters have taken on twisted shapes and have created the unnatural presence of the Vale of Eternal Blossoms.

The Swirl is not easy to handle, and players must be extremely aware of their position in order to avoid getting caught in the water jet. Immerseus is surrounded by a large number of grunts, and his enrage period lasts for 30 minutes. If you don’t have the time to wait for Immerseus’ enrage duration, you can heal yourself using Sha Bolts and a Swirl cast. In addition, you won’t have to worry about being attacked twice, since Immerseus does not enrage a second time.

Enrage timer

It is possible to skip Immerseus’ enrage timer in 25-man raids. First, you need to DPS him down to 0 HP in the normal phase. Once you have done that, you can then cast a Dispel DoT on him to kill as many of the remaining Swelling Corruption stacks as possible. This will increase the amount of damage your raid can deal in one wave.

The second thing you need to do is find all the blobs that have turned into Immerseus. They are different from friendly ones. Sha puddles cause 75k of damage. Purified puddles deal thirty-five thousand damage. This can be a big advantage in battle, as this will prevent your opponent from being able to kill you. But you have to act quickly to get rid of these blobs.

Swirl ability

The Swirl ability of Immerseus allows players to avoid facing this boss by moving out of its area of effect. This ability can also be used to avoid Sha Bolts by ducking counter-clockwise. However, keep in mind that this ability can be dangerous as the Sha Splash puddles can cause moderate Shadow damage if they hit. This damage can be avoided by making sure that two tanks are close together.

During the main phase of a fight, Immerseus will often target every player with his Sha Bolts. When these strike, you will get hit hard by the splash, but these are not a huge problem if you’re in a 25-man or 10-man. However, if you’re playing solo, you’ll want to consider using a different glyph that gives you a chance to skip these swarms.

Corrosive Blast

During the first phase of a fight, Immerseus will attack the tank with Corrosive Blast, dealing moderate melee damage. It also leaves a debuff that increases the damage of all Corrosive Blast attacks that are launched by Immerseus. This makes it necessary for players to swap tanks frequently to avoid being caught by the corrosive blast. In addition, you will need to position your tank in various “slices” of the room, which can be tricky.

Generally speaking, it’s best to skip the first phase of Immerseus Corrosive Blast if you can afford it. You’ll have a smaller health pool and corruption amount than in the previous phase. If you can’t avoid using Corrosive Blast, make sure your healer uses it. It’s also a good idea to use it when it’s available. In phase two, you will have to fight three corrupted Golden Lotus spirits.

Seeping Sha

The Seeping Sha is the damage zone around Immerseus, so you want to avoid it as much as possible. If you have the Heroic ability, Swelling Corruption, you will create a congealed Sha thing next to the target. When you enter this damage zone, you will gain 6 seconds of DOT. Pet attacks count towards this duration. Taking damage from these Seeping Shas will increase the DOT time by an average of 20%.

Immerseus can be reached by any Puddle, including Purified Puddles. Once he is in the Sha Pool, he will deal 3,000 Shadow damage over 1 sec to any enemies within 10 yards. The damage increases as the amount of stacks of Sha Corruption increases. While immerseus deals damage to enemies, he cannot heal himself. Rather, he should be tanked to avoid letting the Sha pool go to waste.
