Orgrim Doomhammer
Orgrim Doomhammer is an orc warrior, born in Frostfire Ridge. He killed corrupt Warchief Blackhand and took control of the Orcish Horde. The goal of this horde is to conquer the rest of Azeroth and make it their home. He is a part of the Warcraft 1 and 2 story line. There are several reasons for this, but we will focus on two of them here.
Doomhammer is also known as the Backstabber by loyalists of Gul’dan. He is the Warchief of the Orcish Horde in both the 1st and the second game. His mighty hammer is used to destroy countless towns, from Hammerfall in the Arathi Highlands to Orgrimmar in the Second War. Orgrim is the earliest orc to be killed in the Warcraft series, and his hammer has always been a symbol of his power.
Medivh
The tale of Medivh is one of intrigue and mystery. Born at the age of twenty, the demonic being was directed by Sargeras to destroy the humans of Azeroth. He made a deal with the orc warlock Gul’dan to invade Azeroth with the Horde. The Horde is the old, nasty Orcs who fight the humans in World of Warcraft.
After the first and second war, Medivh ascended to become a prophet and foretold an apocalyptic threat. The kings of Lordaeron and Dalaran, Antonidas and Terenas Menathil, interpreted his mumblings as mere madness and dismissed his words as mere nonsense. But the fateful meeting between Medivh and the mortal world changed their lives forever.
Gul’dan
The character of Gul’dan is a powerful and cunning mercenary who has a thirst for power. He has a ruthless personality and enjoys manipulating others to achieve his goal. His overarching quest is to find the Tomb of Sargeras and claim the powers of the dark titan. In the process, he betrays his people and sacrifices friends and family to achieve his goal. The story of Gul’dan in Warcraft 1 and 2 is a part of the Book of Heroes adventure that retells the stories of many of the game’s heroes.
During the Second War, Gul’dan raised the Broken Shore from the depths of the ocean. But his forces were overwhelmed by the sheer number of demons that inhabited the Tomb of the Elder Gods. Ultimately, Gul’dan’s forces killed Sketh’lon arakkoa with a single spell and then directed his forces to seek out the primary passageway. However, one of his forces was killed, leaving the world in the hands of the Alliance.
Garona
A few plot twists are revealed in the story of Garona, who was the first npc to die during World of Warcraft. In both versions, she was the beloved ruler of Stormwind before the city fell under the leadership of the Horde. However, the movie handles the death of King Llane in a different manner. Instead of killing him, he asks Garona to do it. As Garona is mind controlled by the Shadow Council, she does so, stabbing the mighty lord into death.
Originally a half-draenei, Garona was conceived as a baby and served the Horde, but her allegiance to the Shadow Council was never in question. She was born to a draenei woman who bred with an orcish warrior. Because of the strange nature of Garona’s appearance, she looks like neither her parents. Afterward, Garona is mistaken as human by the orcs.
