The Zarnecki Incursion in Big Bang Theory World of Warcraft

The Big Bang Theory is known for creating storylines with Sheldon as the focus, while giving other characters a chance to shine as well. Sheldon, for example, was recently hacked. His World of Warcraft account was taken, stealing over 3,000 hours of his time. The FBI failed to help, and Sheldon turned to the police. The episode ended with Sheldon lamenting the fact that a man would steal another man’s battle ostrich.

Sheldon’s World of Warcraft account is hacked

Leonard returns home to find a panicked Sheldon Cooper. He reports the hacking to Blizzard, the parent company of WoW, and his account is restored in a short time. The hacker would not be charged with assault or the theft of the items from Sheldon’s World of Warcraft account, and he wouldn’t have to face the gang or get arrested at a sleazy online tavern.

Sheldon’s World of Warcraft game account was hacked by Todd Zarnecki. During the hack, Sheldon’s items were stolen and sold to merchants. Fortunately, the stolen items cannot be used on another character. Glenn’s ostrich mount was not stolen. He has been learning this skill for a long time. Howard and Leonard try to find the culprit.

Sheldon’s love triangle with Bernadette

When Leonard and Penny move in next door, they quickly expand their social circle. However, they are soon to discover that Penny has been seeing other guys, and their love triangle becomes even more tense. Not only were all of Sheldon’s possessions stolen, but his battle ostrich, Glenn, has been taken as well. To solve the mystery, the gang must track down Todd Zarnecki, a giant who is about twice their size and plays World of Warcraft.

In the episode, Sheldon has been playing World of Warcraft for quite some time. Apparently, he spends hours leveling up and collecting virtual items. When his account was hacked, he called the police and FBI to investigate. The guys eventually traced down the hacker to Todd Zarnecki. After finding him, the two set out to recover Sheldon’s World of Warcraft items.

The Fuzzy Boots Corollary

The show’s four main characters, Sheldon, Leonard, and Raj, love playing World of WarCraft. Names like Wolowizard and Sheldor are a common sight in this fictional universe. In one episode, they team up to fight a massive army of goblins. Sheldon and Howard claim to be the swordmasters of Azeroth, which is a legendary item.
