The Untamed Valley by Robert Brook’s is a seven-page short story that takes place after the Siege of Orgrimmar. In this book, two Alliance heroes are transporting a war criminal across Pandaria, but a pack of Hellscream’s loyalists is following them. A battle is shaping up in the Valley of the Four Winds, and the Tillers have no intention of sitting this one out.
Garrosh Hellscream’s trial
The trial of Garrosh Hellscream in World of Warcraft is a satirical take on the character and his crimes. In the trial, the rogue hero is convicted of murdering the last of his followers, the dwarves. Though the crime was a war crime, the trial’s main purpose is to test whether a leader can be made to feel remorse. Interestingly, this satire works.
The purpose of the trial was to determine the full extent of Garrosh’s guilt and the crimes he sanctioned as a leader of the Horde. There was also a discussion regarding the role of the legendary hero Malkorok, who was accused of killing several Horde soldiers. This was not an isolated case, and a number of other players were also accused of the crime. Despite the lack of evidence, the trial proved to be a defining moment in World of Warcraft.
