A warlock’s dps spec should be chosen carefully. Depending on the character’s role, Fel Concentration, Fel Stamina, or a combination of both, may be better than the other three. Fel Concentration

This build relies heavily on increased Spell Critical Strike, but you can swap some points from Fel Concentration into Suppression instead. Fel stamina warlocks can use both Shadow Bolt and Death Claw as well as damage over time spells.

A Felguard build involves using Shadowbolt, Immolate, Life Tap, and Drain Life. The spells will be highly useful, and Shadow Bolt is the best ability to spam. If you can get the chance, use Shadow Bolt and Improved Shadow Bolt to annihilate mobs. Fel stamina will also make you very difficult to kill by melee.

Fel Intellect

If you want to make the most of your dps spec as a warlock, Fel Intellect is your best choice. This spec allows you to cast spells that deal damage and restore mana to your party. It is also great for tanking since you can use healing abilities when you’re down. But before you get carried away and start speccing your warlock, you should know what Fel Intellect has to offer.

Grim Reach

If you’re in the hunt for the best warlock dps spec, look no further than Grim Reach. This spec boosts damage and survivability with its powerful DoTs. Affliction Warlocks will be happy to know that this talent also decreases the cast time of Destruction spells. This is especially important for raid groups with a Shadow Priest. Pyroclasm is another viable option for warlock dps, since it gives a low stun chance when AOEing. Moreover, this talent unlocks Master Demonologist, a powerful spell that can increase your Voidwalker’s damage.

If you’re not planning to do a lot of raiding, this spec is a great choice. It provides decent damage even for new warlocks, as well as many vital raid synergies. In addition, it has a lot of talent options to suit any budget. The main disadvantage of this spec is that it can’t fit more than one Warlock in a 40-man raid.
