Mace Windu

In the new Star Wars movie, ‘Shatterpoint,’ a deadly force appears to be unleashed upon the Rebellion. This power is embodied by Mace Windu, a Jedi Master and senior member of the Jedi Council. A master diplomat and deadly fighter, Mace is considered by some to be the deadliest man alive. But who is Mace Windu really? What is the purpose of his presence on the Rebellion?

The novel is an intense and gripping read, and it has a dark side that makes it an epic adventure. Mace Windu’s adventure takes him to the jungle planet of Haruun Kal. The setting is described so vividly that it gives the novel a sense of immersion. A grueling battle between the Harunnai and Balawai feeds the dark side of Mace Windu. Mace’s quest to rescue his former pupil Depa Billaba is long and difficult, but the book wraps up with a memorable reunion between the two.

Geptun

During the Clone Wars, Lorz Geptun was a Balawai Human colonel. He served in the Pelek Baw militia and the army of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. He was born on Haruun Kal and escaped slavery. Later, he became a member of Republic Intelligence and the Alliance to Restore the Republic. He was eventually recruited by the New Republic.

The new wave of aggressiveness was triggered by a series of violent atrocities. A massive group of Korunnai led by Billaba to Lorshan Pass, and Geptun sent droid starfighters to attack. However, Windu’s clever trick of tricking the droid fighters into a dogfight caused the rebels to retreat. Windu then led the Korunnai rebels into the capital city of Pelek Baw. The remaining droid starfighters were destroyed, and Geptun was forced to surrender. The Galactic Republic took the planet in a peace deal.

Vastor

Shatterpoint is the fourth novel in the series, and was first released in 2003. Its story takes place during the Clone Wars, between Episodes II and III of the Skywalker Saga. It is an all-ages read, and features deep character development for the Jedi Master Mace Windu, played by Samuel L. Jackson. In the first book, Mace Windu had limited screen time, but his character was a pillar of the Resistance during the Battle of Geonosis in the second Prequel. The book dives into the character’s psyche, and also analyzes his confrontation with Jango Fett and how he interprets the Force.

Vastor is not an evil character, but he does radiate a certain amount of darkness. He also doesn’t have a lightsaber, and he lives naturally in the jungle. Mace is a father figure to Depa and Nick, and is a good leader of the Korunnai resistance. As a result, Mace must be careful to not let Vastor control him.

Geonosis

Shatterpoint is a stand-alone novel written by Matthew Stover and set in the Star Wars universe. The story follows the Jedi Mace Windu as he returns to his home planet of Haarun Kal. There, he plans to find Jedi Master Depa Billaba and rescue her from the dark side. But when he arrives on the planet, he finds that her home is under siege by the evil Sidious.

Mace Windu, a Jedi Master on the High Council, uses the force to see the breaking points in people and events. He is intense, intellectual, and very strong-willed, and has been a member of the council for twenty years before the battle of Geonosis. The Jedi master is a self-centered person with an overactive temper, but he is a brilliant fighter and has a keen sense of self-preservation.

Haruun Kal

The first chapter of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace introduces the main characters, a group of people known as the Korunnai. The Korunnai are native humans of the planet Haruun Kal. They are very aggressive and have very little compassion for other species. Mace’s visions of destruction include the Jedi Temple being blown to pieces, and the inhabitants of Coruscant being massacred. He also sees Order 66 and the Yuuzhan Vong capturing Coruscant. In the end, his visions lead him to make some decisions that ultimately damage his character.

The planet is largely uninhabitable because of its toxic lower atmosphere and is not a safe place for humans to live. As the planet becomes uninhabitable, the surviving humans must use portaak amber to protect their electronics. This substance is only effective against silicate-eating fungi. In the film, a team of Imperial Black Ops members, including would-be Lieutenant Pierce, is dispatched to the planet.
