What is the Ninja Turtles’ favorite pizza? Among other things, they probably love Pizza Gyoza and Mr. Pizza. In fact, if you think they don’t like pizza, then they probably hate Pizza Hut. But that doesn’t mean that you should give up Pizza Hut altogether. Read on for more information. Also, check out these Ninja Turtles comics: ‘Grudge Match’ and ‘Pizza Gyoza’

Pizza Gyoza

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans have no doubt seen the television show featuring the heroes slinging their ninja chopsticks while eating a slice of pizza. This isn’t surprising given the character’s love of pizza, which they can’t eat, but this obsession with food represents the adolescent side of the group and ties them closer to New York. Moreover, pizza is one of the main ingredients in Shredder’s plots to destroy the Turtles.

In the series, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are typically 15 years old, though Leonardo has been given a slightly older age in some publications. They were once pet turtles, but became the heroes’ favorite food when Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird began eating it regularly for lunch. The Turtles also get money from Kevin and Peter Laird, who often eat pizza as lunch.

Mr. Pizza

In the TMNT series, the heroes often enjoy a slice of Mr. Pizza. Mikey, for example, makes a reference to pizza in his comics. He once said that 99 cheese pizzas were impossible. However, the Turtles have embraced pizza as their favorite food, and it is no wonder that they adore their Italian cousin. While Mikey may not have been the best choice for the title role, the character has become one of the franchise’s most iconic characters.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ obsession with pizza reflects their adolescent side, which is often associated with the teenage age. The fact that they love pizza further solidifies their bond to New York, which is why the comics feature them as eating the food of their youth. Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman made the choice of a New York pizza as their home city for the cartoon series as satire.

Pizza Hut

In celebration of the upcoming release of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, Pizza Hut is launching a summer-long social media campaign featuring the Turtles’ favorite pies. The campaign includes social media posts featuring the pizzas, augmented reality apps and a tumblr page. The popular pizza chain is also bringing back its Cheesy Bites pizza.

The Turtles love pizza! They are feisty, funny, and brave. But pizza is their weakness. Whether it’s the pepperoni pizza they share with Mayhem or a slice of pizza from Pizza Hut, the Turtles never miss a chance to indulge their craving for it! While we don’t get a glimpse of what’s going on in Pizza Hut’s kitchens, we can certainly find references to pizza throughout the series.

Pizza Hut’s ‘Grudge Match’

A recent commercial for Domino’s featured the Ninja Turtles as the star of the ‘Grudge Match’ pizza. TMNT fans were ecstatic, since the restaurant has long been a Domino’s shill. But the movie’s ‘Grudge Match’ pizza has us wondering: does that mean that the Ninja Turtles like Domino’s? Well, that depends.

The character Mikey had a pizza obsession that grew throughout the series. He tried to convince his brothers and sisters that pizza was not all that great, but they soon became addicted to it and made it their favorite. The pizza is so tasty that it was even named after Mikey, who was fond of eating it. In fact, the pizza is now the Turtles’ favorite food!

Pizza Hut’s ‘Prodigal Son’

Fans of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles might be surprised to find out that their favorite pizza is actually a regular slice of the ‘Prodigal’ Son. This pie is a square slice of pizza that has clams, tuna, sauerkraut, and chocolate on it. Other toppings might include bananas, jelly beans, and pepperoni.

This pizza is reminiscent of the infamous Ninja Turtles Pizza Launcher, the toy that hurled plastic pizzas at their enemies. Now, Pizza Hut has created a real-life version of this toy. In fact, it is an entire company–and one that’s a massive attraction at Comic-Con. The pizza comes in a specially designed TMNT-themed pizza box, created by Philadelphia-based illustrator/designer Scott Derby.
