Battle Station
The latest premium DLC for Star Wars Battlefront takes the Battle to the skies with the Death Stone. The expansion pack includes new game modes that include non-canonical troop assaults on the Death Star and blowing it up. The new Death Star DLC is the third of four premium DLC packs for the game. Battle Station has some great features, but is not quite the cohesive experience you might hope for. The multiplayer maps feel too disconnected and the game’s combat system is not as fluid as it should be.
The Death Star expansion is the most ambitious of the four paid-for DLC packs for Star Wars Battlefront II. This adds a new game type and two playable heroes. The Death Star expansion launches on Sept. 20 for season pass owners and two weeks later for a la carte buyers. Season passes are $50 and the individual modules are $15 each. However, players should note that the Death Star expansion is not included in the game’s free demo.
Death Star
If you have the Star Wars Battlefront Season Pass, you’ll be able to get the new Death Start expansion immediately. This expansion adds five new maps set in Death Star-themed locations, a brand new game mode called Battle Station, and two new characters: Chewbacca and Bossk. You can also play as various types of enemy, including the TIE Advanced X1. There’s no way to get all of these characters, but you can get them all in the Death Star expansion.
Players can play as either the Empire or the Rebel Alliance. Each player can play as one of the three characters or as both. The Death Star level allows players to take on the role of a rebel, as they are fighting the Empire in space. To blow it up, players have to fly through a series of exhaust vents and checkpoints. Other players can assist or hurt the wrecking crew, but they can only take down the Star Destroyer if the timer is running out.
Outer Rim
The Star Wars Battlefront Outer Rim is now available to everyone. The DLC adds four multiplayer maps and a new game mode called Extraction. It also includes two new hero characters, new weapons and a new map, as well as an increased level cap. The new DLC also adds a new feature called Hutt Contracts. If you don’t have a season pass yet, you can purchase the DLC for $15.
In addition to the Outer Rim DLC, the Season Pass includes the digital expansion pack, titled “Outer Rim.” This DLC adds new playable characters, including Greedo and Nien Nunb. It also adds exclusive weapons and new STAR CARDS, including the Dioxis Grenade and Adrenaline Stim Star Cards. If you already have the Season Pass, you’ll have access to the new DLC two weeks before the rest of the players.
Rogue One: Scarif
The latest DLC for Star Wars Battlefront, Rogue One: Scarif, has been released by Electronic Arts. Originally released on 6 December for Season Pass holders, the DLC is now available to everyone. It contains four maps based on the planet Scarif, two new heroes and two weapons, and a new game mode. Rogue One: Scarif has some issues. Some people are reporting that their Season Pass was revoked and that they have not been able to get it back.
This DLC also includes four new maps, including a multi-stage game mode called “Infiltration.” Infiltration is a new type of gameplay mode in which players must breach a scarif shield, create an explosive diversion, and escape with Imperial secrets. In addition, this DLC includes a comprehensive patch to update the game. The patch increases the level cap to 100 and adjusts damage and health output among featured characters. The Shoretrooper Captain and a new playable character, the droids, will also be available for non-season pass holders in two weeks.
