Defeating Rykard
In the second phase of Elden Ring, Rykard, the Lord of Blasphemy, will appear. You must run into the fire surrounding the boss to survive his attacks. This will help you to survive his attacks while you heal up. If you die before Rykard is able to attack you, it will be difficult for you to recover and continue the fight. Luckily, you can use his remembrance to craft a new, more powerful weapon.
Once you’ve reached 50% health, Rykard will unleash two new attacks. First, he will bring back his serpent, using the same bite attack. Second, he’ll raise his sword to high above his head. Finally, he will summon an army of flaming skulls. Make sure to dodge the skulls and keep moving as quickly as possible to avoid the multiple attacks.
While fighting Rykard, you should use your sword to counter his attacks. You should dodge his horizontal swipe and dodging his swings will help you stay alive. Be careful of Rykard’s sword combo. It starts with two sweeping strikes and ends with a sword thrust. After that, he’ll use a slashing move. Depending on the direction of your attack, you can dodge this attack, as it will cause lava to erupt.
Getting Dancer’s Castanets
After defeating Rykard, you will encounter Tanith. This autocratic faction is located in Volcano Manor. Once you’ve defeated him, you can then start the questline for the Dancer’s Castanets. Then, when you return to your chamber, talk to Patches. He’ll give you the Dancer’s Castanets.
Patches can be found in Volcano Manor before the Elemer of Briar boss room. When you defeat him, you’ll receive the Magma Whip Candlestick and Dancer’s Castanets. Then, take them to Tanith, a questgiver, who can give them to you. You can then use them to dance in a party or solo.
After you defeat the boss Rykard, you can pass along the Dancer’s Castanets to Tanith. While Tanith seems hesitant to give you the item, he’s a useful companion to have. He may have other quests for you later, so you might want to save it for now. After all, he’s an excellent dancer.
In the Crucible, you can also pick up Aspects of the Crucible: Breath from Tanith. When you attack Tanith, you’ll be given a Consort’s Set from his corpse. After defeating Tanith, you’ll find the dancer’s castanets in the Crucible Knight’s corpse.
Remembrance of the Blaspehmous
You can obtain two types of Remembrance of the Blaspemous after winning the Rykard Elden Ring. These items are consumable, which means you can exchange them for weapons, runes, or other items. There are certain limits to how many Remembrances you can obtain, however. Here are the steps to duplicate them to obtain them both.
You can duplicate Remembrances at the Walking Mausoleums scattered throughout the Lands Between. These are great if you want both of the weapons dropped by the boss. Beware, however, that duplicate Remembrances are not always wanted, and there are seven in the game. The price difference is considerable, so you might want to make use of multiple Remembrances instead.
If you don’t mind spending a small amount of time grinding, you can always try the easiest route to the Blaspehmous Blade. The blade is a powerful weapon and can be used to strike opponents. You can use it on your friends as well, so it is worth the time to grind out the Blasphemous Blade. This item has a chance to be used in conjunction with the Blasphemous Blade or Rykard’s Rancor.
To get more Remembrances after Rykard Elden Ring, you need to defeat the boss that drops the Blasphemous and collect the Remembrance. Once you get a Blasphemous, you can use it to obtain a great bounty of runes. The Blasphemous Blade and Rykard’s Rancor are also two of the Remembrance weapons.
